Depth of Shot

Postby iBullet91 » Tue, 14 Aug 2012 16:44

What is it that defines the actual depth of the shot? Is it positioning? How long you hold the button before the shot reaches you? :)

What about hitting angled shots? How is it possible to bring the shot not so deep so that you can hit an angle? I'm not talking ts4 insane angles just angles as opposed to trying to power it past your opponent.

Also on a side note, any tips for getting the ball by volley players? Whenever I play the computer and it moves to the net I can never get the ball by :? (C4ill I know you probably won't be giving any advice on this  )

For shorter angles you'll use the short acceleration button (up arrow in default settings) in the same way you use down for top spin shots.

If your position is not perfect and you get too close to the ball then the ball isn't deep so that results in a short angle as well (but with loss of power).

Ah ok...thanks! :)

I've never actually used short accelerations...didn't know what they were used for.
