Mac

Postby safe_as_milk_ » Sat, 28 Jul 2012 03:13

I was disappointed there's no online play for mac, but after some deliberation bought the full game anyway. Good decision! Great game, and the offline play still justifies the cost I think.

Does anyone know if there's any likelihood of online gameplay for mac in the future? Any other mac players out there?

Can you not run it through crossover or bootcamp?

That looks like English to me, yet I don't understand it!

Ahah, as usual my friend Tim Berners-Lee could help me out. Would be a plan, but don't have a windows disc. Would it definitely work online if I did?

Thanks for the help!

Waiting for Mac's answer( i read in past something about installing a Windows driver....)to enjoy offline mode i suggest you to install sam patch 2012 in your game because you say that offline justifies the cost, but with sam patch 2012 the game become of another planet, players , anims, courts, racquet, outfits ecc ....So waiting for a Mac help you can have a beatiful game too!

I guess it's worth a try to install a windows XP via bootcamp, now that macs are intel based i think it runs several games smoothly. Still i'm not a mac user so i can't say, but i'm curious about it, as it may help other mac users to join us if it works :)

I'm playing on Bootcamp dude ;)

I have a Macbook Pro for 3 years now, and for 3 years, I've Windows XP SP3 installed on it, to play every windows games. Every Mac Users should do that ! It's furthermore very easy to install it.

And of course TE works perfectly on it.

Great, thanks! I still need a Windows disc so it'll have to wait until another day, but I might have a go eventually...

What about Windows 7? Why all the focus on Windows XP?

I tested TE on W7 bootcamp with parallels desktop 7 on OSX ML and when I'm playing I have a big graphic bug.

Check it out : http://www.imagup.com/data/1160151683.html

What do you think about this problem ?

Great!

I've got a new Mac coming, and also purchased Windows 7. TE worked on my Windows 7 laptop but it was awkward to play fully competitive online...

Can't wait, ever since the huge disappointment of TS4!
