Tennis Elbow Tour. Interested?

Postby djarvik » Mon, 13 Feb 2012 21:09

Hello guys,

I want to ask you to let us know if you will be interested in participating in a Tennis Elbow Tour for PC. We are currently evaluating the support for such a tour. Let this thread be a gauge of interest.

If any of you guys were playing or are playing Tennis Elbow online matches and tours - please share your experience about the game, lag (if any) and players.

We appreciate your support!

- ITST Staff

P.S. - here are some video examples of the game, for those not familiar with it:

Hey,

that is a great idea.

I would join the tour, so I am interested! - the game looks pretty fun and really nice.

I played only the demo, and don't know, how it all works with those patches and things like that.

And you also have to buy the full version to play everything right?

If someone can help me with all this, I am in :D

im definitely in whats great about the game is the structure is already in place in terms of tourneys futures, challengers etc. which would be good for itst and i like the game play. we need to support the designer by buying this game so he can improve it.

also it seems looking at the tennis elbow forum the maker seems very ope to suggestions about improving the game. as soon i replace my laptop i'll get the game

I started to play this game about 2 months ago. I never go back TS4 since then. Its probably the best tennis simulation game i have played so far (mind the graphic though). What i like about this game is that the public can mod the game the way they want it to be (adding outfit, courts, animation). What i like the most is that they sound real (audience, grunts etc) as they use real sounds in the patch. Ball physic is also extremely good. You can also customise the forehand and backhand's power, consistency, and precision and so many other things.

My only concern about having a tour in this game is that there is extremely big window for cheating through modding, since ANYONE can mod. I've seen players who could increase the speed of the game. I believe there is a lot more things you could do to cheat in this game.

Have you checked if they already have their own tour? Because the community who play this game is quite big as well.

Great Feedback Yard10!

Let me ask you there, are all mods 'visible'? ...or is it possible to change player ratings without it being revealed by the game.

If we were to create a tour, we would of course attempt to put some rules in place to prevent cheating and enhance the experience.

Seems like a cool game. How do you hit shots on the run?
Does buying it only give you the updates for that year?

If we have enough members on the tour we will host challengers and futures (for lower ranked players only).
