Carlos Sawyer?

Postby alexlol » Wed, 05 Jul 2017 19:53

I just played a match against someone called SAWYER, I think their first name was Carlos or something possibly. I'm just learning the game and I'm really bad but they gave me a bunch of tips and let me play a few games for practice. Unfortunately my game crashed right at the end so I just wanted to say thanks to them if they're on here (I have no idea how else I'd find them!). A great introduction to the community to know that people are friendly and welcoming to new players!

Spencercarlos maybe ?

I'd advised you to avoid atp 250 so far, you may lose most of your matches 60 and it could be discouraging mentally.
Build up your level with the challenger tournaments as a lot of current top players did (the boss, pablo hernandez, mignogna etc). There's even a ranking dedicated to challengers I think and a masters finals at the end of the year for this circuit.

Maybe it was me. My name was "Michael Sawyer", I guess I am the only Sawyer on itst.
There is nothing to thank, new player are always welcome, with everybody new, the itst community grow and stays alive.
I know how i felt as i started this game, and i was very thankfull when someone gave me tips to make things better so that i can better/faster improve. ;)
And i would specialice on futures for the beginning. If you have no problems that some player shoot you from the court, you can also try ATP or Challangers between futures. But like C4ll allready said, specially at the ATP the most players are very strong and it can become frustrating.
If you didnt allready, sign in at the itst chat on Discord. There you find often player for trainings matches.
