Postby Pablo Hernandez » Fri, 20 Jan 2017 20:45

Hey guys

This is about a channel that I will upload too to get tennis elbow more noticed despite gathering a lot of following since day one it still can get better as it is the best and most realistic game out there. I am asking you guys if you could sent the dmo of your high quality matches or even just the best shots so we could make a good videos out of it as there hasn't been a video uploaded in a long time as it has been discontinued in the Elias channel. Hope to hear from you soon and let's make this game more known spread the word!

Thanks guys hope to hear from all of you soon!

Great to hear man! I'll try to give you some, but there's also the video section, so there might be some nice recent matches there that you could use to record.

Hello,
Thats actually a very good idea. I thought about it aswell. I thought also about streaming some ITST Tournament matches if that was possible. You have my support in this idea.

With the new DX9 update, you will be able to do it without much trouble.

I have never used Twitch, but I'm looking forward making some tests and possibly stream some matches.
I have a powerful PC (though it's a laptop), but I'm afraid that streaming will cause an input lag. Even a 5 ms additional delay may cause an evident disadvantage in TE, especially at high levels.

Anyway, yeah, having an official ITST o TE YouTube channel is definitely a great idea. But it needs to be an independent channel, not linked to a personal account. Other than that, the channel manager should be very dedicated and look professional. For example, posting a weekly video with "hot shots of the week" may definitely gather lots of views.

We may already start with 200-300 subscribers according to ITST community dimensions, and this generally means thousands of views.

I tested it with pidzi and there weren't anymore lags than usual cause of my wifi

Thanks Federer I am sure you have some quality matches, you posted a couple of videos a couple months ago during the French Open and also your Wimbledon Run which were nice and refreshing to what have been posted before.
I have Sony Vegas, Photoshop CS6 So HD quality should not be an issue at all, the only thing I would struggle would be the layout of the channel art and so on but will get there with time. I will have some time in my hands so at least a weekly video will be posted as you suggested hot shots of the week is one of them. Only issue would be people taking their time with the recording of the matches and dmos and sent it and so on.

I once more tested twitch streaming with OBS after dx9 was finally activated in 1.18. I personally have pretty strong connection (http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/5986356714) and i could stream on 3500 bitrate (which is reccomended maximum for OBS) without any additional lags or spikes or higher ping, so if you have good connex you should be good with streaming (you mainly need good UPLOAD rather than DOWNLOAD).

More of a problem for me are my PC specs, despite i have still pretty good specs, its not a high end, more like mid-end, and it was already noticable. I for example could not stream in 60 fps which absolutely preferable as the display is so much more fluent opposite to 30 fps in which im forced to stream. And even then, i still have a minor freezes, but these are fortunately negligable after some time and you can even get used on it.

So the bottom line is if you have high end PC and decent net, you can easily stream without worrying about hindering your own performance during play. You can still stream with weaker PC but you will have to sacrifice some quality and maybe prepare for some annoyances.

PS: I myself will probably stream matches from AO 2017.

Nice! In the past days I watched some of your videos on Twitch and there were some freezes, but the last two videos are actually smooth (except for the low FPS). Anyway, I don't know whether it's better to stream on Twitch or YouTube, since the introduction of the "live" function.
