Time of holding butons for online

Postby Gonzo_PL » Wed, 10 Sep 2014 12:34

Hello again guys! I've noticed, that in online match ball is going to sides way more faster, than in offline match. For example, in offliine, I have to press the moving button about 1,5s to hit the ball on the line. In online, I have just hold it for about 0,4-0,6s. Did you guys noticed this? Is it becouse of the latency? (about 60ms in every match) How can I train offline if in online matrches there are completely diffrent times of holding buttons?

Yes in game it's called Delay. Latency yeah they're the same thing just different words.

If you keep practicing you'll get experienced playing online matches and you'll figure out how long to hold and charge.
Also if you move faster somehow, you have more time to charge.

You can't train offline with some artificial delay to reproduce online situations, unfortunately. Btw, Uchiha almost said all, I would just add that how much fast is aiming doesn't depend on the ping between the two players, but on the delay the host can set when someone joins his session. Playing with 30ms ping, but with a 117ms delay, is like playing with 117ms ping. Of course, the delay should be higher than real ping between the two players, to assure that some jitter or lag peaks won't hurt the smoothness of the match.
