Lack of Activity (Main Problem)

Hey Guys,

the Mainproblem of my personal View is the Lack of getting Trainingspartners to train the specific ITST Mode.
Yesterday I was over four Hours in our TE Chat and didn't get a single Match.

If I don't play it against humans and I mean especially the Mode we use, it's impossible for me to compete with Guys playing this Game over months in this high skilled League.

The Problem is our separate Mode in general, which is a Curse and Blessing at the same time.

Curse because it's a saparated Mode you are playwise bounded to ITST Guys only.
And Blessing because the Mode combined with it's Animations and Balance is really clearly better than the regular TE Mode.

If the ITST Mode would be the only real default Mode in the Game I could train all day long against every human stepping online in this Game, but it isn't.

And I mean it's not only me. Other new Guys attracted by the Game should face the same Situation.
TE and especially the ITST Mode has alot Potential, but you gotta play the human-Competition to get good in every Tennisgame, cause being trained is everything in a Videogame and Talent is semi-important and overrated in the Videgame-Sector, where every Player can achieve the same, because every Player is bounded to the same one and only Physic of a Game.

It's a natural thing.

Hi mate, i'm also new at this game, and i have never experienced that problem. Always that i have gone to the chat there are some people available for playing, and, if not, when i have created a lobby i never waited more than 5 or 6 minutes . So maybe you have had very bad luck or you was online from 4 am to 8 am.....

Anyway if you want to practice i'm available!

I often find people willing to play. I saw sometimes more than 30% of the total matches played, being played with ITST Mode, it's pretty good. Of course it can be better, but help us promoting the tour then !

In general not many people want to play with totally beginner (I remember how was it, one-two months ago...). Also depends from hours. But around evening or later (european time) it should be no problem to find opponent at any level.
Is your connection OK, I mean can players join to your game ? You know that you can host and switch back to windows with ALT-TAB, during waiting for opponent ?

ALT-TAB!!!!1ahahah after one year i learn this!i play in no-windows mode so every time i closed the game and entry in chat!!!!now it is the past, with alt-tab.....

When waiting for an opponent, you can also simply click on one of the links like "ITST chat", "Game documentation", etc. Sorry for the OT, but when I use alt+tab or task manager during a match, I usually see a different camera, and I have to reset it.

I don't know about you but as the other guy said after 4pm in european time, there is always someone. Yeah some of them reject me because my ELO is low, but when there is no one around I get to see the game of the guys with ELO over 2500. They're just incredible. I've been losing and losing all the time.
My ELO dropped to 811 from 1000. Indeed this is a hard tour but then again I've been playing only for 5 days. I got already knocked out in the first round of some future event. Things are going bad. Next week I should play another tour match, hopefully I'll not get someone from the top 50 like previous time.

P.S. I thought everybody knew that when you're hosting you can wonder off by alt+tab. But don't just do bring the cursor to "test connection" and then alt+tab. Otherwise you're gonna hit the back button and you never get that scary warning sound if someone wants to join your game. Seriously that sound freaks me out every time. Maybe that's why I lose, getting scared right before the game.

I will play this Game more and more besides my Teamwork in Counter Strike GO now, cause have a huge amount of time in my current situation and can't play counter strike all day long.

I always played against the cpu in the last days.
this game is just awesome and has a huge potential.

i look out for you guys and do my best not to bore if I get a match.
i am not bad right now, but i lack on huge experience with the game.

i am also signed in the Abierto Mexicano Telcel (32 draw) beginning on 25 th feb. with my favourite player almagro.

I tried playing with other chars in the past, but I just have the best feeling with almagro.

I would play this Guy even in wimdeldon or anywhere else even almagro is known as a clay-player. ^^

WoW Sinna. Are you serious with entering ATP 500 event with your current rank? Maybe you should play challenger. They also have decent points for winners. You can't possibly go against top 10 I presume.

Yep I had a Idea for a good Game going on.
But after I realised what amount of time i would have to put in with zero codingskillz I had to make the decision to cancel it.

If I would be at least in a coding team of five mean to realise my Imaginations of a PC Tennis Sim it would be another thing, but in a one man show creating something really worthwile with zero coding experience would be heavy.

And if I would make such a Game, I would make it with Passion and a Fokus on perfectionism.

But we have Tennis Elbow and to say it again, the work of Manutoo combined with our Mode is the closest thing to a excellent Tennis Sim I ever played.

It's just outstanding how great te Mechanics of TE are to simulate everything important in Tennisrally or Tennis Match in general. For me TE is THE best Example representing the Passion of Tennis right now and I played almost every important Tennisgame in the last 15 Years.

I will focus on this Game now and stop playing Counter Strike Global Offensive, cause I noticed I still have more Passion for a Tennisgame like this than on confusing Deathmatch Sessions or Teamwarmissions.

To summarize my Idea of coding a new great Tennis Game, it was just pretty naive.

There are Coders which invest more than 5 Years practice doing those coding things and I would have to learn everything from Scratch without a Trainer or Master to teach me.

It was just naive, even the Idea and the few Plans I had were nice.
If I would be a experienced Coder, I would try something really cool for you Guys and I would firstly stop if I am happy and pleased with my work.

But the other Point is that I am a Guy who like to play against others also since Years.
I love and playing the Competition by myself.
And if you start such a Project, it doesn't End with the first final Version after 2 or three Years.

It would be a Task you gotta work for over dacades, to keep improving it.
