Totally fresh from Gametrailers. (19 January 2012)

Exclusive Producer Trailer HD

Hm I'll just wait what the final Game has to offer before I jump to much on Conclusions.

This will be my first Game in 2012.

The last months I played so much Counter Strike that it's time to relax and jump on a virtual Court again.

And this Game is a new Chance to do that.

Hm yeah looks not bad, but I'll see.

I remember the Time before tha Release of Top Spin 4 and how I was hyped like a 5 Year old Kid.

The Result was that I played the final Game not even a month and returned to Counter Strike again.

But it's good that such a big Developer like EA Sports finally works on a Tennis Series.

Honestly, that alone is worth the price of admission. Gonna be fun!

Yes and this is expectable if you look at other Online-Possibilities from other EA Sport Games like FIFA or NHL where you can play in Onlineteams and control one Man on the Field.

That's really cool because you can work on your Teamskill with a consistent Doublespartner. If you wish to do that of course.

Honestly, the features look good.
But the gameplay is not good, so it will still end up like Virtua Tennis 4 or similar.
I wonder how long it took them to get that guy to look good in game (using the 'your own face' thing)
If it works as well as advertised it would be cool, but I bet it's fairly scrappy looking.

Hehe Cro, yeah I made almost the same mistake with my first Post today after I watched the Demo Gameplay Vid.

But fact is that I haven't a single Experience with this upcoming Title and hadn't a clue about this Game until the last few Days where I searched for new Tennis and other Titles which are good enough to play them competitive.

This Games earns a Chance. And maybe it's good at the end that you don't had the highest expectations before the Release.

So this Game could surprise me or not. I won't try the Demo. I'll first give it a shot when I buy the final Game at the Release.

I used my Game Face one time in Fight Night 4 and the guy looked like a human mated with a pug. In reality I'm probably only HALF that ugly! :-D

Yeah the Claysurface really looks cool.

But to be honest. I just saw a Indie Game called Tennis Elbow which has better Animations than GST2.

I mean it's like I said, these are still the first footsteps from EA Sports in Point of Tennis.

But if I had something to say as a Lead Producer I would try to develop such a strong Game that the Community will have a blast and no other Possibility as to change to this new Tennis Game because it's so good and convincing.

The Try from EA is cool, but on the other Side it remembers me on the Pro Evolution Soccer and FIFA History, and in this Case Top Spin is PES and GST2 like FIFA.

EA Sports needed many years to develop a Soccersimulation that's nearly good, as good or better as the Rival in some Points.

And what I have to append Guys. I don't know what Budget Range EA had for this Development. But look at the Games today, the most have excellent Animations and I am not only talking about Tennis Games.

To serve us such Animations in a modern Time of those crazy Development Possibilities is a Joke and seems like made by Amateurs. I mean do they even know or watching real Tennis?

The main Points you have to get in Focus for a modern Tennis Game Development are Movements, Physics, Animations combined in a acceptable Balance and a nice Variability of Tennis Courts.

I don't want to spread Negativism, but EA has to know in which direction the Rabbit runs if they want to impress us. That's all what I wanna say.

Because the try is good and and also good for Buizness, but to serve such Animations almost seems like a Try which isn't meant serious enough.

And a Wimbeldon License isn't they Key for success you know.

PAM and 2K have a Plan of the matter and this means by far more than any License could mean.

I mean look at Rockstars Table Tennis. These Guys came out of nowhere and delievered such a good and strong first Try of a Table Tennis Simulation. This Game was crazy good if you think about it correctly but this Sport wasn't famous or popular enough and so the Game can't be also.

If the EA Sports GST Team isn't creative enough they have to hire better heads.
