I think the commentary sounds great. Graphically it looked pretty decent something looks a little odd to me though I'm not sure what. I'm definitely digging the sound though.

Looking forward to this - I think the ball is oversized as it was in the first one : /

as far as i know when they were doing the recording movement process, he was holding an ice-cream (don't know the flavor) in his left hand and that's why he decided to hit one-handed backhands.

hmmmm...interesting. For all the 'authentic gameplay', or uber-realism, the rallies kinda seemed all very 'samey' though? And not sure about the changing-ball-colour business....also, the movement/hitting of the ball looks.....odd/weird/wrong somehow.....all that said, it looks pretty interesting.....

The ball colour is just something that they carried over from the Wii game. Just tells you what spin the ball has on it. Kinda stupid, but meh.

This is purely based on about half an hour of play and getting used to the controls, but to me the only thing it seems to have on Top Spin 4 is the usual EA amazing presentation (McEnroe on commentary and licensed Wimbledon even down to the Robinsons bottles!), but overall it seems to replicate what they occasionally have done in the past and in that they have tacked on the gameplay as an afterthought.

The movement of the players seems extremely unrealistic and jerky, while the annoyingly arcade like glowing colour ball seemed to go anywhere but where I was aiming, although this is probably just me not being used to the controls, which in theory are a good idea for more precise shots (mostly done on the analogue stick).

Absolutely no excuse for the crap animations, but gameplay wise, I think GS2 is ultimately gonna be better than most people think.**
