LOL watch Nadal hit a onehanded backhand at 3:25 in the first video.

WTF is this?! I see alot of one handed backhands from both Nadal and Djokovic. It seems completely random.

looks pretty terrible.
Is that Djokovic or Pete Sampras? I see a lot of 1 handed backhands that aren't slices.

Honestly the game looks decent, but the movement still looks really silly, a la Virtua Tennis, and the net man seems to be God, judging by those videos.
Djokovic at the net in every rally

Not sure how they came up with 2-handers hitting one-handers all the time. Think they've been watching Tsonga too much, or they're using a topspin animation for a slice

From the youtubes: "It's not realistic, 99% of the shots go inside, it's almost impossible to fail a shot. Virtua Tennis 3 is at least a fantastic arcade game, i don't know what GST2 is, as a simulator its a joke, as an arcade its incredibly boring."

SIGH

Nah the Djoko one is still worse.

Btw, I hope you'll be able to turn off commentary. I watched a few other videos of the demo on youtube, and they all have the same phrases repeated over and over.
Gotta love Cash screaming about a backhand winner being 'powered' down the line, when it's just a volley, lolz.

Ditto on this.

I think the animation triggers are screwed up a bit, but nothing that can be adjusted in time for release. Net game of course is a biggie. You can see the good ol' snapping into position that TS4 has. Groundies are fine, players are bit too fast thou...again, nothing that cant be fixed.

All in all, I think the game looks like fun. Lack of errors thou will not make it as good of a SIM as TS3. Lets see if it can sell more copies then TS3. ;)

4 console doubles thou is confirmed and will surely bring TONS of fun to ITST tour.

The site isn't reliable. They are reporting that TS1 (PC) had sales of 0.00m. The ITST had 2,002 TS1 (PC) members, so they are off by 2,002, at least. :P

It may not be reliable for total figures, but for the sake of compassing it will do

*buys german import*

I would be really excited about this game were it not for the 0 baseline unforced errors.

Yes, and no. :)

Except for the random one handed backhands I like what I'm seeing. And the positive thing about the one handers is that the animation looks good.

I hope the demo will be up again soon, can't wait to try it. This could be a lot of fun, maybe not so much sim. But as long as its fun I don't care.
