well i have seen it many times, beeing forced to move back like 5 meters.

it never happened like 5 times in a row but on some matchs i ve seen it coming on 2 or 3 break points, so either some guys know how to do it on purpose but save it for big points cause they are smart enough to avoid a negative report, or im am paranoid and it only happens randomly or by mistake.

but im 100% sure it does exist

Ok, but i am curious how its possible that other topplayers like Tiger, Likos and Dennie never had this problem with these kind of returns.. Neither am i.. Is it seriously a fact that the server can't do anything? I mean, as far as i rememeber i never stept back automaticly in about 400 matches..

Only got the problem that my guy is steping in to soon for an volley, if i want to stay on the baseline to finsh the point with an groundstroke. But i think thats also a problem from myself..

oh no it does happen a lot to me too. i think now they nerfed drops and power slices it s the one big fail in ts4. so frustrating when you re supposed to go for an easy winner and get forced into a stupid weak semi volley that puts you in trouble :(

About the fact that it seem to never happen to some players, maybe certain types of serves are "immune" to glitch? how do you usually serve guys?

Yeah its bothering me alot, the steping in problem i mean.. But i think i serv different and a little mixing it up. With my low service guy i prefer a topspin or a slice service because the flat serv from 195 km/u get punished bij an flat return, with my higher service guy i am serving alot flat. I can speak about Dennie's serv very good because i play very often against him, his serve isn't special or something, he is just serving like al other people so i don't think there's something like an immune to glitch serv :P

Anyone who knows how to glitch return, and plays on the Xbox?

I want someone to do it against me, because I've never seen one (which seems weird, because I play a lot of WT).

It could all be just Lag related. The weirdest things happen to me when there is juuust that little bit of lag. Very laggy matches are just that, laggy. But slightly laggy matches sometimes yield amazing shots! No idea why.

I will review the video.

Rob, I know in theory how to cause the Glitch return, but I do not practice it. I can show you, but it may not work every time. But I am sure I can do a couple. When I did try in WT, I was able to do it.

I also wonder if it has something to do with me using the IMO skill. I've played almost all my matches with S&V (which obviously isn't going to be affected by the glitch) or with an IMO character. With IOM, my backhand side is MUCH weaker than my forehand, so 90% of the returns go to my backhand, and I try to run around all of them.

Its not that weird because Tiger, Likos, Dennie etc. and me also never saw one yet.. Thats the strange thing about this.. Some people did saw them and some didn't .. I still think that its the problem for the server.. The "unfair" glitchy returns might be very fair good deep returns which the server need to handle superbly .. Like an topspin return from Nadal in real life..

no glitchy ones are slow and not that deep, when you look at it and see your player step back you re like "uh? what s going on????"

maybe it could be, but this is just a supposition, because the "glitch return" is extremely bouncy, and if you are not on it early enough, you are forced to walk back and wait for the ball to be at shoulder height. but it would still be "glitchy" cause since the ball aint hard it should be possible to take it early.

Well, anyone who can do them every time, please set up a match with me.

If there is an easy counter to it, that may be the best solution to the problem.

6 months after the release of the game, you still don't know?

What in the **** does that have to do with a match that was played a few days ago?

And out of all the comments in this thread, you pick that one to make a smart-ass comment on. How about you contribute something of value to the forum once in a while?
