im guessing your his freind backing him up loool anyway he is a good player doesnt mean the coach is not unrealistic like TI/MD you get good players who used that overpowered setup to not lose imo same thing is happening with this coach :tu

He isn't a friend just a futur opponent

I try to play with Mickael Kelly and i don't think it's so easy because he gives low speed , stamina and power

i dont think stamina and speed matter on topspin 4 as much yet as people with low speed can get to every ball as there have been many complaints about that also stamina and power isnt a issue when your charging the net and the rallies rarely play past 3 or 5 point rallies.

I just loose versus Ranma_Sao 7/6 6/4..
50/77 his stat at volley
Where is 99% ? ...

it's hard to play against a S&V but not impossible, i break 3 times but he's very good player and he wins logically

I played him too.

He definitiely is beatable, but you must really show a perfect performance as he is a very good player, one fault at the wrong moment means you lose. It was the best match I ever had, it was fair and I had a lot of fun.

I never played S&V, so i can't judge it from this view.

From the view of an OBL it is just very hard to pass an S&V-player coming to the net. Every controlshot must be perfectly timed and in addition he never misses a volley. The range of getting balls when standing at the net also is very annoying.

Sure, some volleys here and there are pretty unrealistic, but that is how top spin presents S&V, and I still have the feeling I can beat him if I show a great performance.

Ranma_Sao wrote:Just learn how to play against serve and volleyer! Most of you don't even know how to play them and whine ... I recently lost to someone badly and he had IR/CPS setup which is ,according to me, **** more imba. Problem is you rarely meet SV so you don't have many occasions to practice against them . Just try him and you'll see it's not that easy to win against good players. Playing SV is mainly anticipations +reflex and you need to practice a lot to be really good at SV.

+1, you're entirely right. These people think it's easy to reach all the balls : but it needs more skill than to play on the baseline : more anticipation, more timing, and you always need to be well placed for avoid lobs, wrong foot etc..

This topic is clearly a joke. It's easy to pass a s&v i didn't have any problem against them : and when they are great, it's a real good challenge to find the key and destabilise them.

spoke to people on the psn about it who play on itst and believe its abit over the top maybe not as much as me and omidje but still see it as being dumb you can reach any ball no matter where your are at the net
