In fact, even Monster Defence can't stop this unreal way of SV, Do u ever saw somebody like Sampras or Mahut( on a lower level) play service volley like this? Its not neccesary to hit an approach, only a slowly cross court ball is enough time to come in and finish it. On this way the whole game is destroying.. But i am telling this because i can't understand why anybody say something about this crap. Does somebody on this forum know what tennis really is?

Yeah we also lost a great player like DennieFR1908 on the tour because of this unrealism in the game. Its to bad but nobody listens, only Monster Defence is out can't understand it.. :shock:

well thing is you cant ban all the coaches as everyone will start moaning but they should definatly limit the ratins on serve and volleys to not be volleys in the 90s as that is a joke but i guess the sim tour will fix that but its still annoying

In that opinion the Monster Defence coaches should be available again, because the SV is more overpowered than the Monster Defence and maybe MD can do something against it. Besides that also the power coaches are overpowered, so i guess we should open the MD coaches too.. Becaue this SV coach is by far the most overpowered in TS4

A lot of whining, bitching and moaning on these forums.

If 'you' find some setup or attribute overpowered and can't live with it, or can't stand the lack of variety then put your racket where your mouth is, like I and some others have did: Stop playing. Simple. This is a general comment, not to any one in particular - I've read several threads/posts in the last few hours, which made me shake my head. No one denies there are issues, but how many never ending posts do we need on it? No one has a gun to anyone's head forcing them to play.

All these constant threads and posts contribute little and are irritating. Send your views to 2K, or do it through Hosts like Rob, Djarvik etc. for a future patch.

Either get on with it, play, and stop the constant complaints, or stop playing.

I do agree that SV can be a little ridiculous, but I don't think it would be the first coach to be banned. I just don't think enough people use it. I think the first to go would either be Serve Stick Beserker/Focus Serve with its 145 mph serve or Instant Rocket/Crushing Passing Shot

And for al those saying SV is overpowered, if it is soooooo easy, play with one yourself in an ITST match! What coach did you use for your char that you did not create and had in a lobby? Ask Dapery: he does not bitch about SV, he practiced against them to the point where he can make the BEST SV player in Rob feel insecure at net.

its very easy to SV in this game, in ts3 you could only volley easy shots but in ts4 its a lil ridiculous,

The way it is right now I don't think there is one overpowered coach, rather their are different tiers of coaches. babb, rabari, kelly and the other make up a top tier and the rest are 2nd tier coaches.

It's a video game, nothing is realistic in TS4. If it was realistic, nobody would be able to win a match with just SV, drop shots would have a low success rate, nobody irl hit as hard as these guys with 100 power, etc...If you want to play in a realistic way, then play real tennis. You really think you can hit a forehand irl with just pressing button, it's not realistic!

Exactly. He didn't just make me feel insecure, he made me give up on S&V all together.

Another reason I gave up on it was that it makes for unrealistic rallies. Not because it's overpowered, but because it's so easy to hit passing shots at the volleyers feet. It's not any more unrealistic then so many other setups, but it's unrealistic in a way that I didn't enjoy.

I also agree with what someone else wrote - the biggest problem with S&V is that not as many people use it. So, most people just don't have a clue how to counter it. Having played S&V for quite a long time in the beginning of TS4, I know exactly how to counter it, and I find it the easiest to beat - I stopped enjoying playing S&V, but I love to play against it.
