Just had an extremely close Rafter vs. Rafter match with VillaJ100.

It was my first match online (apart from a 2k open match right at the beginning, but that wasn't vs ITST), and while in my career I'm only level 13 so far I had no trouble adjusting to the higher tempo, as I took the 1st set 6-2.

The second set was completely the opposite though, as Villa served better, forcing me into bad returns. He took the set easily 6-2.

The 3rd set then was really close. He broke straightaway, but I managed to get the break back. Then at 3-3 we had this epic game, with me serving. I saved 8 breakpoints before I finally prevailed and grab a 4-3 lead. Villa kept his head extremely cool though. Despite facing 2 breakpoints he held on to his service game to level things up. Next game I was facing 15-40, but unless my previous service game he took his chance straightaway. He then held serve to win 6-4.

VillaJ100 (Rafter) def. TomBs (Rafter) 2-6 6-2 6-4

TomBs - VillaJ100
85 1st serve % 80
53 Win % on 1st serve 55
50 Win % on 1st serve 58
18 Aces 6
0 Double Faults 0
92 Winners 94
5 Unforced Errors 4
4/19 Breakpoints Won 5/16
55/55 Net Points Won 31/31
101 Total Points Won 107

The Net Points Won stat is wrong though, as we managed to pass each other frequently. It must be just the amount of points won at the net. The difference is due to Villa staying back when facing breakpoints :x

I think for it to be registered as a net point you must have hit at least 2 or 3 volleys at the net

Alex defeats coke 6-0 6-4

We were both created players, me being Morrow, him being Tree.

1st Set Morrow started well, racing to a 30-0 lead in the first game, however Alex showed miraculous defence and attack to bring the game to deuce before breaking, he then held to love. Morrow seemed to be back on track, racing to a 40-0 lead on his serve, however yet again it wasnt to be as alex fought his was back into the game before breaking. The rest of the set went downhill for Morrow, he was broken yet again and struggled to win any points behind Alex's delivery.

2nd Set I starts serving again and withstood great pressure again and managed to hold. I then developed a nice rhythm on serve, of not being broken, this is helped by the fact I upped his average serve speed by around 10 kph. At 1-1 I manage to get 0-40 on his serve, alex took his foot off the pedal, but alex saved all three, I managed to bring up another one with a fh winner up the line but again alex is to strong and holds, In Alexs next service game I get 15-40, but yet again Alex saves them ease. At 3-3 alex manages to break, and pushes me at 3-5, but I holds on, put up a bit of a fight at 5-4 before he won

coke4 Stats Alex
97% 1st Serve % 76%
50% Win on 1st Serve % 84%

Yea, Alex's control shots are outrageous. I could only get 4 games off of him in two sets. I could and did break him but I couldn't hold my own serve. We both were Nole.

I've played some on the 2k open who perform these shots, especially with Nadal. I don't understand them. They are very slow with the ball traveling thru the air in what seems like slow motion. Then u get to it but u can't hit it back hard or with depth, very strange!

Alex was my first loss. Can't wait for a rematch!

Played DRII today accidentally at the 2kopen mode. I was Federer he was Djokovic. Won 3-1, 4-3

1st set: We were holding serve quite comfortable till i managed to grab the break at 2-1, after some spectacular shots.

2nd set: DRII decided to play his usual game and he pushed me a lot in some of my service games. There was one game( at 2-1 he was leading) where i saved 4 bp. Tie break and i dominated it 7-1.

Good game my friend.

I played some nice matches today, one with josenulund, won it 6-2, 6-3 i was federer he was agassi.

Played two matches with alex, one with our created characters, won it 6-1, 6-2 and one with pros: i was simon, he was djokovic. I won it 6-3 but it was a great match, i think we made a record of most hits in a rally (81!!). Yes thats right 81 and we playing our very best tennis lol! 1 set took us 35 min! Alex if we play a 5 setter prepare your drinks and food, its gonna be a long one mate!
