This guy is beyond cheesy, he's an absolute WT tryhard.

In the first set I got up 5-1, then he started spaming drop shots (especially defensive drop shots) from then on. In the 2nd set he was using 3-7 drop shots a game. I served for the match twice and each time he hit 3 defensive drop shots when I pulled him way off the court to his BH. Literally he used 3 of them from that exact spot in each of those 2 games. He uses a Fatality setup (Dipesa) so his drop shots all go just over the net are much harder to get to and do anything with, most of the time this led to a winner or an easy put away against my return shot.

Then in between sets he had the nerve to tell me to stop using lobs when the ones I was using were almost all against his defensive drop shots that I could barely reach. And he was using lobs 3 times as much as me and none were against drop shots. Not that I care, as lobs are perfectly legal to be used on defense, which is how he was using them when he wasn't hitting defensive drop shots. Got to be kidding me.

The whole 3rd set, he just spamed drop shots. Was using at least 4 every game, and his break that ultimately won the match, he used them in 2 straight points to get the break chance and convert it. THEN in the last game, on his serve. He used 7 drop shots in just that game, including at 15/30 when he hit a defensive drop shot against my short cross BH topspin. Then he went on to save 4 break points, 2 using drop shots and one with a s&v that surprised me because he would r1 serve when he was in trouble on serve but wasn't s&v.

You new guys need to read the rules. This was an absolute joke of a match. Guy should banned for playing so damn cheesy.

Has anyone else played this guy? Did he abuse drop shots against you?
