TS4 Tournaments

Hi!

I have recently signed in to the ITST and I am amazed by the good organization in here! I wish to congratulate those who are responsible for this.

You must forgive me, because I am somewhat excited on this, but do the tournaments move usually as slow as the Sony Eriksson open (started on monday)? Only a few matches have been played so far! I also notice that many players are signed in all 4 competitions (Normal/Sim, Men/Women), maybe that's the cause of this pace!

Unfortunately, unlike the real ATP tour, not everyone is at the same location during a tournament - we are spread around the world. So, our tournaments will never finish as quickly as a real tournament.

Some things came together with this tournament. I have to say this situation occurs more then i would like. First off we wanted to let everyone that wanted to play enter the tournament. This means we had 65 sign ups. The concequence of this is that we get 65 players in a 128 player draw.

What you get is a lot of first round byes. The second round thus has a very long deadline date. In your case your two possible opponents are not really active in scheduling their match. But the host cannot do anything about it until this deadline date.

You'll see that once you are in a couple of tournaments at the same time, start to advance to the later rounds in these tournaments and have to schedule with several different opponents you'll see that we cant really thighten the deadlines.
