I completely agree with R_leefly.. 97 volley is overpowered if we limit the stats only upto 90-92 then this problem can be solved.. I don't see any big deal about it just ban any stat above 90 and the problem will be solved

Any rule change is a big deal, especially right before a Grand Slam.

Once the sim tour starts, everyone will have the choice of playing a more or less restrictive tour.

well that means that michael kelly will be banned as he gives you 94 volley with 18/2 .

but really nobody cared about the volley stat until the patch so now that volleying is a competitive setup you say ban 90+ volley setup you all just want one style to work even though it isnt not as dominant as the power baseline setups the fact that they can beat them annoys you i hope they keep michael kelly as he is one the best volley setups. even before the ptach guys were out their that used 100 volley yet no one cared why it was an issue now volleyers can compete you all moan.

Nah I don't think S&V is overpowered. I just played a 97 volleyer and I thought it was a well fought, fun match. If I played well and played smart, I got on top. Simple as that.

The thing I am against is when someone has 97 volley and drop volleys every single shot because that shot is a bit overpowered. With that much volley stat, you can pretty much pull it off any shot given to you (granted it obviously involves a bit of skill to pull off a perfect from different shot combinations) and when you're that close to the net, it doesn't leave your opponent with much time to get there and do something useful.

Other than that, it's generally fine. They'll probably hold a lot of their games but so should you. Usually comes down to a break or two more than other matches but that's tennis. Different matches play out differently.
