When someone is world no1 and consistenly winning slams and master's playing with this setup, you'l have a stronger argument. Not the odd women's tour 250 tournament and a few challengers :? It could also be a simple formula such as this:-

You play SV. Player 2 plays SV.

Player 2 is better. they win.

You play DF baseline. Player 2 plays SV

Player 2 is better. they win.

You play DF baseline, player 2 plays SV.

You play better. you win.

If at any point this equation breaks down, then we will have a serious issue. Until then guys, i think people need to practice against SV players a lot more. In TS3, it was the opposite. You was sort of putting yourself at a severe disadvantage trying to win with SV. I lost count how many times but it must have been 45-50+ where i would play a guy as my SV'er and lose, only to have a rematch with a baseliner and win comfortably. But i liked to play that way so i kept with it.

Believe me though i am talking about fair players here, not some dropshotting rush to net drop volleying on every shot cheesebag.
