Direct Matches Problem

After the patch was released,the tournaments in WT work pretty much fine but I can't say the same for direct matches.
Very often (about 1/6 times) when I try to connect to a direct match and I enter a nearly full lobby,I get stuck at the ''Please wait...The game is currently finding the best opponent for you...'' message,last time for more than 4 hours - this is not an exaggeration I actually waited out of curiosity to see how long it would take.After all,you know how the drill works;you quit and you get handed a loss.
There have been a couple of times when the game has actually found an opponent and yet again doesnt proceed to the match.When this has happened,there is no going back no matter how long I wait.You can only quit the game.
Is anyone else having the same problem?I'm wondering why the hell was it so difficult for 2K to include a simple CANCEL option before the game starts,or while it's trying to match you with an opponent.Then everything would be peachy.

happens to me too but not for hours if it last for more than 10 minutes i just quit and accept the loss. it only happens when you arrive in the lobby when the count down is 0 or close to it like 5 sec or somethin.

My guess is that it has to do with the number of people who are on the lobby.It only happens when it's near full and that's why it never happens on the WT tournaments,because there you never come up a full lobby.It is usually 1-4 ppl.

yeh happended to me i left it for an hour and still said the same thing as you said though its because of the lobbies full its trying to find the best opponent for you but with 2ks useless servers its too hard for it lol
