My 5 year old PS3 just died ... RIP ...

well it suffered quite the abuse and still outlasted most of my consoles... and it looks like a power AC problem - which wouldn't be that serious and totally recoverable ... problem is I have at least 4 games due this week (including a semi-final and a quarter-final) ...I'll try to sort it as soon as possible without compromising the points I'd aquire ... I'll try to figure out if it's a simple problem or not and if I can recover the data or not ... back soon I hope and in time in playing all those due games!

it was good times when PS2 was around, it still works after 6-7 years!
no problem with heat,humidty,dust,power,glitch...nothing!
i hope your system doesn't have a serious problem and you can recover it very soon.

thankfully it was "only" power supply related (and I quickly got it fixed with no data or system loss) ... already today was back playing ... so IT LIVES after all! ... quite a scare though ehhehe
