I'm leaving. It's been how many weeks with the the world tour flaw? And not even a single official statement to say we're aware of the flaw and working on it. They don't even post a thread in their offical forum. That combined with the serving glitch where your server slowly drifts left and the start button that immediately puts you in the practice court, and the false advertising about in game commentary, this game was a rip off. 2ksports doesn't give a fook anymore, I won't buy another 2ksports game again. I'd rather play **** virtua tennis than give money to a company that's gotten this lazy and complacent.

I know its a poor game Oishee , but ive sorta learned to get used to it , as there is no other tour anymore for the other games , the basics are still there i guess , its far from perfect , but its all we have got at the moment , Virtua Tennis isnt that great imo

Some things are pretty annoying. I'm playing a guy right now (yes this match is that much fun) who has a 72 and 82 groundstrokes, crushing pass and instant rocket. I'm playing at Stavgard tennis hall. play there and look at the reflection of the net on the court. Now the guy im playing has 31 winners, and most of them have come within that 2 foot area on a tramline. I'm federer and have a 93FH and can't make them angles, with perfect precision, power, both, or anything. Its kind of baffling.

Basically, the problem is not entirely lays with 2K as I understand. Some of PSN services are still not up.

They are working on what they can from their end.

Have the addressed the users in any meaningful way? Have they admitted there's a problem and given some sort of timeline as to when it will be fixed? NO
All PSN services are back up and the problem is still there. And regardless other online games ran fine after PSN first came back online. All they had to do was address their customers with an official statement. And regardless of that the game itself is riddled with bugs. Some of which I listed already.

Anyways, if anyone else is pissed off they can trade in TS4 for $20 at amazon.com for a gift card applicable to a future game purchase. A good deal, imo. In a few weeks this game will be worth like $5.

P.S. Love ITST, i'm only posting here cuz I know 2kSports doesn't give a poo about their official forums and never respond. I hope i can come back when a good company puts out a good tennis game we can all enjoy.

Yeah I mean, I do feel like 2K are trying to play the scapegoat card here. I can't imagine how it can be a problem on Sony's part. How does whether the PSN is back up or not affect their in game matchmaking? Why is there not a problem with any other game at all?

I guess it's not inconceivable to think that somehow the new PSN firmware might coincidentally only affect TS4. But that would still mean it's 2Ks problem to deal with since it's something about their game in particular that isn't compatible with the new PSN. Sony can't do that for them.

Not blaming them for not having fixed it now, might be something that's really hard to fix, if at all fixable. Just pointing out that they're telling us it's most likely Sony's problem whereas the evidence is overwhelmingly implicating 2K.
