Double Bagels

Postby JJ_DUBZ_87 » Mon, 28 Mar 2011 00:05

For those of us unashamed of our double bagel losses:

I just got handed one by ItaStallion in R32 of the Women's Warm-up Tourney.

He played great the whole time... and I picked Wozniacki... which imo was a horrible choice lol at least for the way I play. Anywho, kudos Ita on giving me my first double bagel!!

lol

He just embarrassed me 0-6 1-6 0-6...it felt like a small victory when i won a rare point...I guessed wrong virtually every shot, and his angles are sick....good match ita....and I agree with him that power doesn't mean to much cause his is 74 and he was hitting some insane shots and had a diesle serve.

yeah triff...his angles were almost untouchable!! All I could do was say "wow" after the match.

Getting to 30 in a game for me was like "WOO!!!" and then I'd tense up and he'd just break me or hit winners lol. Just gimme a lil more time Ita

Also his timing made up for his lower power stat by far. His control shots were spot on!

good games

yes timing is the key to success. Big serves returned perfectly and deep due to your player low speed stat will always give you trouble.

Power is extremely insignificant as long as the returning player knows what he is doing. If he does not than he will never win a point on his returning game

im sure you will both eventually become great players
