What happens if your opponent is cheasy and you quit?

Postby polakis » Wed, 29 Feb 2012 17:40

I warned my opponent not to make cheasy shots, but he ignored me. Than i quit the game. I saw he even posted the unfinished first set. In my info it appears that i didnt qualify in the next round. I reported all in tour host. What happens now? Will i lose the game? If yes thats unacceptable!
I have never quit any match in itst. Thats my first time...

Wait until you hear what the host says. Then accept his decision.

During a game recently I feel cheated a lot, I didn't leave, I lost, I had some little proofs of what i've felt, but I still had the defeat at the end.

It's maybe the best solution to leave before the end...

If you can resist the frustration you should definitely try to finish the match. It makes your case a lot stronger as you never quit.

Reminder: If you quit the match the opponent has the right to report the result, and the result will stand unless you either have some video to prove your accusations against him or the guy is a "repeat offender".

Not gonna discuss if it's fair or not now it's just a reminder on how it works the whole thing.
Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

LOL! So i lost the game? Nice justice you have here! He made one lob return in every game! So if we played the game and i lost and he was using lob returns what was gonna happen? Whats the difference?

Ok i know, its evil polakis fault again...

And i repeat. I have never quit a game before. I just couldnt stand his cheasy play...

You just destroyed a great run of wins i had...Pitty...

Well done...Not fair play here

You should actually change your itst gamertag to "evil polakis", it's quite fitting. Oh and don't forget to shut the door on your way out

What happens if your opponent says you played cheesy, and they quit?

Are we supposed to just give them the win?

So if you play an itst game. And the opponent is cheating. And you dont quit until the end. And you lose the game eventually. And you report him. What happens then? The mods respond that we will send the complaint to the managers and next time a ban will occur? And what about the game you lost from cheating? What the difference if you quit? Can anyone explain? In both ways the cheasy player qualifies?
