Points @ Masters Shanghai

I've just noticed that you earn 180 points by reaching the quarter @ Shanghai but just 45 in R16, because there were only 32 players who participated.

I've searched for similar cases in the database, and i've found plenty of masters 1000 (in TS3) with 32 players, which gave 5 points for the first round, 90 for R16 and 180 for quarter.

For instance : Shanghai Masters of the previous year (http://www.intertopspintour.net/index.p ... 3&gc=PSTS3).

Why did that change ? In the real ATP Tour, i think that if there are just 32 players who suscribe for a tournament, it's the rule used for TS3 which is choosen.

We care. Just had to do a little digging.

I did find evidence to support your claim. The points were distributed a bit differently in the past.

After discussing it with other members of management, we have decided to leave completed tournaments, as is -- all points have already been applied to the current ranking. In the future however, we will revert back to the previous points allocation.
