TI-MD is frustrating. Everytime I think I have a winner, somehow the running reach shot of TI-MD somehow produces a new winner. I'll get it next time, I guess ;_;

what setup were you using? For me its all about the setup in this game. Some setups get thrashed by others, but then give others a close match. Just depends on which setup you were using.

Don't have the exact setup off the top of my head. Here's the generalized tho (I think)

OBL - 10
DBL - 6
S&V - 4

Coach:
Pavel Dlouhy
Return Counter
Shot Counter

The basic strategy I was employing was using power shots and shot counters to push him deep, then start trying to get him to run left and right using counter flat, then try to finish it off with a power shot to the open court. Problem is he always got to the ball, no matter how wide I pulled him out cros court. Doesn't make sense with low speed/reflexes really, but he did it. In the end once he got a point on me in the game, then the wide serve, full power top spin to opposite corner came in and finished me off. Those break points listed were basically the games where I won the first point at love-love, then won the second point to go ahead 0-30.

In the end, I'm probably being bullheaded with trying to use this setup to get as far as possible. I don't really want to resort to having to make a new character and waste a save slot just for the sole purpose of winning. I'm more interested in my progression. My games against TI-MD are starting to go in my favor, despite the bad matchup :P

thats good for you but what about players who wish to play an all-court game must conform to your setup just to stand a chance against them if so a lot of time and energy was wasted in creating the various other setups
