So I've played Anil, tenjintenkai and norberto so far in exhibition sets/matches and have yet to win even a single set lol.
They've been fun though, even the sets against super server Norberto..we managed to have some sweet rallies

@Coolhand - Indeed, it seems an age since we last played in TS3..I shall keep an eye out for you later.

I finally had the opportunity to play a string of ITST player matches. First played two matches versus Anil. First match he destroyed me with his powerful player. Although my timing was way off in the rallies because it was my first match of the day it is clear that the way he played gives an edge. That is going to be the dominant playing style on the WT.

After that i played another set versus Anil and he used his all-rounder. He beat me in the tie-break. This match was so much fun

. My timing was better which meant the rallies where longer and more exciting. Anil outsmarted me lots of times. Very annoying

Then i transfered to playing Norberto with his defensive baseliner. My first match against him i lost 6-4 6-(1 or 2). First set was close and fun. In the second set he grabbed an early break which made it impossible for me to win. Every service game from him i was saying to myself, now you are going down Norberto, now im gonna break you. But it never happens :lol:

. I think its just mathematically improbable.

After that he grabbed another set from me (6-3) with his offensive baseliner on grass. I totally hate that court by the way. Im guessing Wimbledon will not be my tournament.

Returning is so important in this game. I had a few good returns against Anil but most of the time i cannot get the timing or positioning right. When i tap a return i always miss the timing. So i just press early and release it on the right time which is probably pretty bad.

Ah well, cant wait to play some more matches tonight

Well, i played a couple of guys yesterday... A day i shall forget...
Anil double bagled me 2 times... He plays extraordinary!!! So much depths, such great timing!
Setheleh did the same with me! Watch out Anil, here is another deep returner!
And i also played Tenjintenkai who baggeled me also...
And i trained a bit with my buddy Amazing Ziz and i felt i made some improvements after all those matchs since i've been able to handle his "tempest" way of playing...
First, thx guys for playing!

Then, i terribly suck!!!! My timing is horrible, and my returns are rarely effective...
Need a lot of training! ^^

EDIT : And i played Slicer too, who also simply bagled me ... Everybody is baggelling me! :evil:

That's not gonna make it!

Funny how my name is mentioned so often....I wonder why, or is it because I play soooo much hahaha....

Anyways yeah it was great fun to play Slicer and Sherlock. It's clear I time the shots well with my very first player I made.

I am now trying some other setups. Funny enough against Sherlock I played defensive kind of setup. On clay I was able to retrieve soooo many balls I was able to beat him in straights. Don't remember the score but there was atleast one break per set??
BUT then I asked Sherlock to play one on hardcourt . Cause I thought I wouldn't manage to keep up as well . Wellllll :-)

You can see the score. It was so hard but so much fun.

I was running behind the facts the whole match. Only retrieving balls. Not really able to hit effective winners. His slower player seemed really fast. Honestly he was dominating the whole match. I could just win a few points here and there to turn the match into my favor.

I think playing with a bit less powerful player does make the matches more fun for me atleast.
Though hitting amazing well timed shots is a lot of fun too :-)

But you won a GS in TS3, so you have some history to live up to :lol:
