TS4 Exhibition Matches (Xbox)

Played some loser named 'GCUGINI76' today. I was Rafter and he was, like every d-bag on XBox live, one of the 3 or 4 God-Tier characters in TS4 (Djokovic). I was Rafter.

We were on serve, 1-1, when on his 2nd service game he decides to start serving from the tramlines and doing ZPS's. I of course quit because I don't have the time or energy to play retards, but here's where the funny part comes in: he sends me a message saying "DON'T TRY THAT GIMMICKY GARBAGE AROUND HERE!!".

Apparently referring to the fact that I serve and volley every point with Rafter.

I just thought it was hilarious how stupid and uneducated some of the people who play these games are. I'm 'gimmicky' for serving and rushing the net, while he's completely fine standing way out wide and serving 75 mph serves that you can do NOTHING WITH. Makes sense.

Anyways him and I had quite a PM war it was pretty funny

Funny thing is the few actual baseline rallies we did get in, I had the upper hand. With Rafter!! Hahaha!

This is an incredible and familiar story, one that I miss from the XBOX.
On PS3, messages are rarely exchanged due to the clunky and time consuming process to send one.

I told him I would gladly destroy him with Rafa- to show him what an actual good player can do with an overpowered character- and invited him multiple times to play a 6 game set, but he of course ignored it.

I also ran into some guy prior to him, who started to hit a ton of drop shots after I won the 1st set; he broke my serve with a drop shot and after that I hit LITERALLY nothing but drop shots (except for returns) and still won I was a drop shot master, doing perfect drop shots on a dead run, drop shotting his drop shots, I swear to god I even did a perfect backhand drop shot off a lob

I know it's cheesy, but I actually enjoy playing people who drop shot a lot, just so we can have drop shot wars.

Exactly. I once had like a 3 drop shot counter drop war, until i lobbed it over him.

I firmly believe if we were playing IRL, side by side, I would have nowhere near the problems I have with constant drop shots online. Timing is super critical on getting to these shots and hitting a good reply, and lag robs you of that! I freaking hate it. Nothing pisses me off more in this game than drop shot whores....the 'glitch return' doesn't even really bug me as much cuz it's so hard to hit winners now anyways (post-patch), I don't really expect to have too many 1-2 punch, serve-big forehand winner-type points.

That's cool yeah we should play...I don't wanna make it sound like the top 3 characters (Rafa Fed and Djoko) are 'unfair' but if I know you're gonna pick a top-tier character I'd at least like the chance to pick one myself, so I have a chance to compete and maybe win.
