Hey everyone,

As I mentioned in another thread I'm new to the tour, would love to get some exhibition matches in with some of the other players before we get going and get more involved around here. So, if interested add me. I played a couple matches last night after I got the game, so still extremely new to it but at least I got the basics down now.

I'm usually on later at night U.S. time.

HUGE record online right now of 4-0. :D

Just played norberto in a set. Blake (me) vs Nadal (him).

and things left off right where they left off in TS3, the set heading into the tiebreak. Lost 7-6 though.

Nadal is going to be well used setup on tour, i had trouble trying to hit through him with blake, but I love to use blake.

p.s. Norberto has already figured out how to paint the lines! damnit!!!!

Actually the lines are relatively easy to hit now compared to other tennis games, actually it seems like it's usually the outside of the lines too. I even once hit the corner on a power shot! Usually it requires a control shot to hit the lines.

Norbert knows perfectly who's the best, i mean, he using Nadal is not something random, he knows exactly who the most effective player is :D, don't forget that Norberto plays to win not just to have some fun

Am I the only who enjoys using customs over pros? I mean nadal is a beast, and using him gives you a huge advantage against most pros.

I've been loving world tour, and I finally created a character that fits my style. Can't wait to create karlovic and the all rounder.
The customs so far seem to have weaknesses because they only get 2 skills (1 of which they might not need), and have lesser points than most of the pros.

Ofcourse the warm up tournies are coming up to decide the direction the tour will take, but from what I've seen the pros will probably be a bit too good. Rafa is practically a custom killer.

Counter punching actually works . Hahahaha, I've surprised I havent gotten so much hate mail. People have been trying to hit through me only for me to end up winning the point. I've had great matches so far. Only main gripe is the lag, but it's online so....

If any of you want to battle it out custom vs custom just hit me up. Lol, I can't wait to play your Dolgopolov djarvik , when he's done ofcourse.

Lol, I can't wait to create Karlovic. Serving is so effective in this.

Just a shame we can't make 6 ft. 9 inch giants... haha oh well. Prob better for online as a whole. Have you served with Roddick though? Wow, the serve is huge. They might have to nerf it sometime, though. With 10 minutes of practice it gets really easy to nail the middle line at 140mph with Roddick every single time. Could get super cheesy and unrealistic, especially when people also figure out how to slide it out wide and there's no chance of moving to the middle to protect against the bomb.

Yeah, I'm disappointed I'll have to settle for a shorter karlovic. No I haven't used Roddick yet, but I played some big server/aggressive baseline custom. He was hitting 133s-138s all over the place. Down the T with that much accuracy and speed is practically unreturnable unless your character is built for returning. Also, their slice outwide is so wide and so fast, like 124 mph irl. Lol, he wasn't even that good at serving, but i got aced like 10 times, in 1 set 3 games  . We went to tie breaker and he won it because I got aced, twice, back to back to give him the lead after I lost a point on my serve. Then again my character's reflex isn't high so it makes sense. The only saving grace in that match for me was that he was slow, but my word. Even if you react accordingly, your character doesn't even move at times cause they thing just blisters down the court. You have to guess at times cause standing in the usual default return postion is not enough.
That's why I can't wait to create Karlovic. Even if you were to return it, I'm also S&Ving  .

Well in the first game he aced me 3 times in a row his first service game, not because of power but great placement. I haven seen any serves like that verse the CPU in TS4 so I wasnt really ready for it. But after that and while I was anticipating he only aced me 1 time and I got some great returns from blake off of his well placed serves.

So I dont think its easier than TS3, but mind you he has only had the game for 1 day and the rest of for 2, not really that much time to play around

Oh and I should add about our match that it was actually quite fun, the pros play the way they do in real life. Blake tries to crush everything while rafa runs everything down.

Try beating Agassi with a custom player. My god :-) I don't know what to think of TS4. But have to admit that I never had so much fun playing an AI.
He is soooo good .

Did anyone beat him??

I play 5 setters against him. Win sometimes the second, There it stops. :-)
