Many thanks, but unfortunately it is going to take a completely different way, as it seems like I will have to retire - at least for some time. I simply can't get rid of my connection problems. Some of you know, that after I changed residence some month ago, I have those tremendous lag/interruption/disconnection issues, I lose connection at least once in more than 50 % of my ITST matches at the moment, and I understand that people are getting tired of playing me because of that (I would be pissed myself if it happened to me...). Recently someone even told me that "my connection is known to be laggy and unstable on the ITST at critical moments", which is not the case (as anybody who knows me for a longer time can confirm) , but it is laggy and unstable ALL the time
.
BTW, I have 100mbit/s down and 10mbit/s upload (I think there is hardly anything faster you can get in Austria), my Internetprovider changed my modem 3 times, in the end they told me they don't know what the problem is and that they can't help me at the moment.
However, eventhough it is hard for me, as after so many years I still love participating at the ITST, I decided that my retirement is the best solution for everyone - I don't want to end up as the "guy with the **** connection nobody wants to play". If I get rid of those internet problems I will be back for sure, but for the moment.... farewell!
PS: many thanks to all my friends for the great matches you gave me, even if I am not participating at ITST you can always invite me for an exibition match (like I said, in around 50 % of my matches my connection is still perfect
). And of course many thanks to ITST, not only the greatest online-tennis site but the greatest online-gaming site IMO and my "virtual-home"
. Bye!
