TS4 sucks!!!!

Rich it's a shame you are selling your game so soon. I appreciate where you are coming from in part - I felt like that after a week or so of playing it however having persevered with it I am really reaping the rewards now for sure. People keep talking about topspin cross court battles, I don't get myself into too many of them. I can quite easily take the ball down the line with control shots. Anil or Puttu and I will have to record a match or two to illustrate the depth in the game. Yeah it's not TS3, but it's good in a different way for sure. Furthermore once a SIM tour comes in and TI/MD is outlawed or 2k patch fixes it the regularity and effective of such things should be all but removed.

I agree with you here man. It's too soon. We must at least wait for the sim tour to start before taking a final decision.
If i would have listened to myself, I would have crushed a few controllers and sell the game twice already. But i'll wait. I'll wait because I've created my self a cracked coach Pei monster defence char yesterday.
I didn't loose a bloody match since then. NONE. Even trashed guys who were beating me easily before. I DO understand now why everyone is using this cracked & bugged player. It's a shame.
Same thing kind of with the instant rocket guy.
Anyways ; It's not the first time the world tour is full of unreal and cheated charachers. I just hope ITST won't wait as long as in TS3 to create a sim tour....

hey, no drama's gents!! Zizou....sounds like you've gone for the if-you-can't-beat-them-join-them route.....appreciate and respect that, but i've opted more for a not-interested-in-even-playing-them path in this case - i can see certain improvements, if you like, between TS3 and TS4....but the disimprovements outweigh them drastically, in my opinion.

and waiting for a SIM tour...don't know....TS4 just doesn't feel like it will have a huge level of variety-of-play, irrespective of different character-types....that could well be short-sighted...it remains to be seen, but that's the feel i got...and i got it strongly enough that i did sell the game, and to be perfectly honest, i've not looked back - i've played a few TS3 casual matches in the last week and forgot how fond of that game i was/am.

furthermore, it simply isn't possible (in the current version of TS4) to tweak the character attributes to anywhere near the same extent as it was in TS3....this will also limit the variance possible in a SIM tour.

We will see what happens and how things develop - would like nothing more than be proven a curmudgeonly old naysayer on this one
