Yeah, I tried a serve and volley config and found that it is relatively straightforward to hit difficult angled + deep volleys from not so good positioning and timing.

Another bug I noticed is that category (forehand,backhand,speed,..etc) stats are different for same build on xbox/ps3. Try 0/15/5 with rabari or 0/17/3 with gallo same build order (first all db then all ob) then load the coach that I mentioned. There are a few points (within 5 points) that are different in some categories (forehand, speed, reflexes mainly). Normally this would not matter, but if you are using the coach calculator and wanting to play one config on both consoles it is not possible right now.

I think they changed some numbers on XBOX in one update but did not update PS3. Can this be fixed as well in the update.

Can someone with relevant expertise post instructions on how to capture videos from a TS4 match on PS3 and XBOX onto a laptop?

I can provide a video or two if there is a relatively easy way to capture it without affecting the gameplay dynamics.

The easiest way I can think of to get video directly from your game system to your laptop (if you don't mind spending some money) is the Dazzle video capture (or a similar device / capture card):

You can also run the game system through a DVD recorder (which may cause some lag) or if your TV has AV out you can just connect that to the DVD recorder and the gameplay will not be affected. That's how I used to record my GST matches. Then you will need software to convert the DVD to mp4/wmv format. On Mac I used a program called Handbrake to do this.

The last alternative is to simply record the screen using a video camera / iphone / etc. The quality will be poor but it's cheap and easy.

I don't thin k quality is important. We need to be able to convey what we ask to fix. So handheld phones and cameras that accomplish just that will do!

Guys, we need your help in recording and posting on YouTube examples of what you think is unbalanced in the game, examples of what you speak of in other threads. It will much easier for 2K if they can see a video of what we are talking about.

Players of all levels are welcome to post in this thread. We need to try and balance the game for the very best players as well as for challenger level players.

Right now I am looking for video examples of the following:

- 30, 40, 50 shot rallies
- SV dominance
- Missed "good" and "perfect" shots
- Returns that trigger the "move back" animation
- Power players being too effective or ineffective (I have heard both after update)


...and other balance issue, glitch occurrence that you may think should not be a part of the game. Make sure to discuss it in another thread first, to get an idea if what you experience "may" be an actual issue.

You can also post a video with a paragraph in this thread and we can sort things out together, if this is a strategic error you a are making, or an example of an imbalance.

I will link the best examples in my post and make the videos available to 2K Sports.

Another observation is sliding when volleying.

Regardless of volley rating it seems to be a lack of an animation so players just magic into positions instead of take steps to hit volleys. Very frustrating when trying to hit up the line and someone slides into position and hits a perfect volley.

Kinda connected to this, but does anyone use a player under 6,4 in this game? It's a minor complaint but it means that high passing shots and lobs are pretty redundant when playing a 7,0 foot tennis player.

I find wrongfoot shots are way too effective too. I'd love if you could at least hit a reach shot and it goes into the net or something but too many times I return a shot and they hit it in the same place and my player just gives up, regardless of me pressing a button. I'd like to see some sort of effort and maybe I get lucky with a return once or twice.

I've had the game 2/3 weeks and been unable to play a single WT game. Also, connecting to online games without an invite is seemingly impossible.
Can they PLEASE sort out the connectivity? Thanks!
