What´s the secret of the Speed-Turbo?
When i play against Powerplayers with 43 (!!!!) Speed, some guys are soooo quick, that´s unbelievable. They run to every ball and (very funny) playing the ball as a perfect timed Flat-POWERSHOT!!!!
It can not be that the RB- Button makes them so quick. Because with 100 (!!!) Speed Players i am not more quicker.
Is speed totaly unimportant?
Speed-Turbo???

Just a matter of practice...
And of course, you have to consider the "type" of shots they have to recover. If you hit in street cross court, you'll get them in serious trouble.
And that's why they try to hit a down the line flat shot, cause it's the only way to try to win the rally, or at least to get their position back.
When you hit a huge street cross court acceleration, you would never expect another acceleration down the line, and that comes as a surprise to you.
I won a lot of ralleys in this way, turning a defensive situation into an offensive one.
And anyway speed is important. You can see the difference when a power player is returning your serve. If you hit a slice wide serve, he will take a looot of time to reach the center of the court after he hit the return (even if its a slice shot), so you can put the ball on the oter side, or you can catch him on the wrong foot, also using control shots.
Power players are extremely slow in sudden changes of direction, for example.
But I repeat, it depends also by the kind of shot you hit to them. If you just try to keep the ball deep, your only chance is hit strong accelerations, so they will be forced to shorten their shots, and at the same time they will be also forced to get two steps back in order to fully load their own shots.
But this is a risky strategy, cause if you do "power vs power" against them, it's like challenging Bolt on 100mt....
If you hit the ball deep with topspins, and then use some other variations, you can get them in trouble. Best weapon, obviously, remains control shots, cause they work better on the other one accelerations', and power player are of coruse masters of accelerations.
They seem quite unbeatable, but I think they are the easiest players to defeat in the game. They only have one strategy, if you block it, you're on fire.
Of course in WT there are 3 or 4 power players who are able to play various game, using street cross courts, slice/kick serves, dropshots, they are able to mix power and precision.
And yes, these ones are tough to defeat, but like I said, we're talking about 4, max 5 of them.
