I love pure S&V setups but...

... I just can't win against good opponents while playing online. It's hard to win a break and the serving games are not that easy to win, because the only thing the opp need to do is to hit a low and soft ball which can't be countered with a good low volley (I also tried with low-volley and spectacular volleys as skills). I think it's a bug of the gameplay, because every real player who knows what to do at net can easily turn a low volley in a winner, but it seems that in this game you just can make a winner with high volleys.
I think that a low and soft shot must be quite easy to counter with any kind of volley (not only low ones, because it's a SOFT shot, not a drop shot).
What do you think?

I won against Lucoboss with my 20 serve volley-character. Stefan Edberg. I'm really proud ;)

No but serious it's just about finding the right tactic against your opponent. Every player has its weakness.

Good luck! :)

I posted this more than a mounth ago, now i learned how to play well s&v and ranked 20th in female wt. Hoping to catch something in itst tour :)
I play 19/0/1 (97 volley, 68 strokes), but i think another good option is 18/0/2 (94 volley, 70 strokes). I'm in doubt because i think that 70 strokes are more efficient during my opp's serving game (esp. against 80+ power guys, cause i have 40 power), but i don't know the difference between 97 and 94 in volley, cause i use a lot of volley during every point, so i need a clarification about this.
94 vs 97 volley, is there any difference? Which is the better: 94 volley+70 strokes or 97 volley+68 strokes (both with 40 power)? I don't care about speed and reflexes because their amount doesn't change a lot between the choice.

I'm not an expert, but I think anything over 85 volley is more than enough to finish any point quickly if you're at net.

I would take the increase in groundstrokes for sure.

yeah, i'm trying 18/0/2 setup but sometimes happens that after serving and rushing to net the opp make a high control top spin down the line and a can't make my game because every volley i make doesn't hurt him.
I'm not bad (#20 in female wt last week without losing a break with 19 in s&v), but maybe i need to master my s&v technique any more to solve all my problems.

yesterday i tried a lot 18/0/2 setup, but, i don't know why, i couldn't play as well as i do with 19/0/1. I'll return to that setup
