Confused about Playing styles

Hey
It seems that in TS4, you can improve your character in ALL play styles.
Does this mean that your created player can be level 20 in every play style (defensive base liner, serve and volley, offensive base liner)?
If this is true, then this means that the only way you could identify someone's play style is by looking at their special attributes, no?

TS4 has worn my fingers down, I just playe d 44 minute final at the Barclays Championship against Novak on normal, we went to 2 tie breaks, We were both cramping and giving out of breath. Im almost scared to play it on hard and very hard. Atleast my 1st character is now on level 20! : )

You can improve them in all areas up to a combined number of 20. So you can put 10 in Serve and volley, 5 in defense, and 5 in offence, or 20 in just one style
