I do ask myself though.. I've played berson and baghdad and Mike..
I lost all the matches against them but i never noticed any super annoying returns.. Yes sometimes a good return.. so? thats the game. For as far as i know i dont have any problems with any of the players.. and im doing the same as them.. or at least trying to do And there has been no complaint from anyone about my returning.. This is the first time.. So i dont really get it... Like Slicer said.. It could just be a good return.. No need to complain..

Btw Julius i think u are really confusing glitch return with good return.. Cause with a glitch return the ball goes pretty high.. the server is pushed 2 meters behind the baseline before he can hit it.. This never happened in our match.. Sure i hit some returns wich had more power then your serve and bounced right in the corner.. But that aint the "glitch" everyone is talking about.. Thats just good timing and positioning.

Is there a glitch return? - yes.

Slicer basically said it perfect. There is no way for us to control or ban this. The only way we can deal with it is by listening to the opponent. It is also possible that a player using the glitch is not aware it is a glitch.

Personally, I think it is very clear to server and returner when the glitch happens. You can see the returner backpedal, unable to hit the shot. If you release early or late or on time, the player will still go into a "moving back animation and hit a poor shot while being completely out of position.

We have received more then enough complaints and details about this to deem this as a glitch and exploit. It is not about deep returns, it is about a multifunction withing the game's code.

Guys, you need to try and keep this thread on topic. The only reason it remains open is because this is a real issue.

Oke but Djarvik..
I have to play against julius again after he left saying i glitched..
But im aware of the glitch and the movement of a player.. walking backwards 2m before hitting the high ball..
But this didnt really happen, i hit returns with alot of power to the corners.. i think you know which shots i mean. Those arent the returns u call glitch right? I'll use the same in the rematch and he will probably leave again and i'll lose?

Well, you should really contact your Tournament Host about it. I can't make a suggestion on a tournament that is not mine. Certainly don't expect your host to answer on this forum. Send him a pm with your concern and he will answer.

This glitch has existed from the very beginning. Well at least from the first patch when I first encountered it. Slicer is right, some deep floaters you can hold your ground and hit a good shot back but sometimes your character automatically starts backing up and you can't do anything about it.

This could be something difficult to ban, especially without explaining how it's done (which probably would not be a good idea).

But, if you encounter someone in an ITST match who uses it, please do inform the host. Taking advantage of glitches is not allowed.

BTW: This thread has mostly turned in to a shouting match, regardless of what the original intentions were. Please try to keep discussions a little more civil, or this thread will be locked.

I informed a host multiple days ago. About the AEGON Championships 3rd round. He hasn't responded. Also it wasn't even just that stupid return glitch.

So how do I know anythings behing done?

I think that of there is a glitch, and reliable sources have told me that there is, then people should not be using. I have never faced anybody using this glitch yet. If it is glitch it should not be allowed, but again there is the problem of enforcing it.
