It's why a guy like Roddick gets burned the majority of the time he comes to the net...it's not that his volley mechanics are totally wrong, it's that he often hits poor, predictable, cross court approach shots that land a few feet past the service line.
Yeah you're right, but at real top levels maybe there's not a distinction between placement and power, because in most cases they are used together.
Lot's of times players like schiavone or federer hit very deep and high approach shots, but in ts4 they wouldn't be control shot but at least powerful top spin shots.
