hah, try beating dapery 3/15/2 ir/cps setup... then tell me about that rule...

ps. i voted no, it is a counterable setup. i have used it in the past, and it has way too many flaws for top itst players. you just have to keep playing and learning the game, because once you do, it is a beatable setup.

well so far we have a very good 98/98 on ps3, with 100% victory, his only defeat was when he wasnt on this player. not that easy to counter when it s in the right hands

I was thinking about this Fabada guy when i created this poll, because a player who is a master at Rabari is good but still beatable, but a player who is a master with 98/98 is pretty much unbeatable.

He must be a good player to be like 20-0, but if he was on a different build he would probably have way more losses.

or maybe he s just awesome i dont know. but dont tell me it s easily counterable.
even on backhand he can hit missiles on balls that would give me advantage against other setups.

But to clear something up: He doesn't always use this setup,, maybe this is just something he's been using lately, or he only uses it for US Open, but as far as I know he also won many matches without that setup.

Doesn't take away this setup is overpowered, ofcourse. I don't understand why there is still no restriction of let's say 91 for every stat, this doesn't make anyone happy.

It is definitely not easily counterable. Try playing someone who is really good with it and is playing well, they become virtually untouchable. With other builds, even if the other player is on fire, I feel like I can compete if I up my game too. Against these players, you don't achieve anything by upping your game if they're on fire. They just hit lines with every bomb serve, first or second, and it's an ace or an easy put away to the open court.

The setup also has pretty good wings so if they're on, hitting them with 98 power, they won't miss and become unplayable in rallies too. If they're a good player and on top of their game, there really is nothing you can do but hope they drop off.

And yes, Fabada is a great player. I played against him without him using 98/98 and it was a really nice match, close one that I ended up winning. I think 98/98 is definitely a little too strong in the right hands and unlike other setups, it's unplayable if they get it going.

I completely agree with tigrenofintegrity.. I once played oshiee with 98/98 setup.. He wasn't good at rallies but he hitted 27 aces... It's not very easily counterable if your opponent is a good player but if u play someone with 98/98 setup who doesn't know how to use it well then offcourse it's easily counterable but in most of the cases players are good and it's hard to counter them

This is more annoying than PJQ was months ago...
At least there WERE rallies, even though strange ones.
This one here is totally overplayed, easy to use and flat out boring to play and play against. (If 2 of them meet, its more like Ping Pong..)
It's only serving and rocketing away nonstop.
Also there seems to be nothing you can do should the 98/98 know how to handle himself, or is there? I tried everything, but my DB seems to be too weak under 98 power pressure. Failing to hit 1 perfect shot means instant death.
Anyone with tips please PN me, I'd be VERY happy to learn about some good strategies. Only my old pal Jon Samala seems to work regularly, but he has been summoned to Tokyo recently in order to teach Monster Defense there. Rumor has it, that Godzilla does not approve this. :/

I'd initially voted no but surprisingly after the patch I'm starting to lean the other way, given how defensive shots work now. Maybe it's harder than it looks, who knows, but either way I agree that it's the least fun build to play against win or lose.

Supermassy is a fair player.

I want to send him a friend request sadly after I win him he sends me "you suck" and after he blocks my messages.
So my resquest doesn't work.
A fair player in the win and in the loss I love him.

It's cool, it changes of the guys who tell you "GG", "Well played" and "Very good" after a match.
That's make it more exciting.
