Well, then I'll join this club :) Since I like being a wall

Only problem is I won't have a character for the foreseeable future :(

Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

Sorry Al, please move me to the "All round" club...

I didn't see this option initially and my player is on 16 level at the moment and I have 5 on S+V which will soon turn into a 6+.

Lol, shame but I quit this club. I'm really having trouble against those big serving, powerful hitting players. I'm joining the All rounder club. He can handle them very well.

Not talking about TS4 but just tennis in general...defensive playing is one of those things that will work very well against a lot of people but often won't work against the very best :P

You're basically at your opponent's mercy. :P If you frustrate him, good job you're probably gonna win, but if he's patient then you're just stuck pushing balls back.

Just wondering what is the most effective set-up for a defensive baseliner? Also, does height make a difference to speed in this game?

Please add me. Finally got the game :) and created a cool very recognizable Gael Monfils (I will post him and maybe other creations in few days :) )which obviously is a defensive baseliner, I am at level 12 :)

It seems I am one of a kind on PS3, and I cen't even play the game regularly at the moment

Also, I might not make it into the club :( I'm planning on having my DB with 10/11 defensive, depending on how I feel about other stats. So there is a 50% chance i'll be elligible 8)

BTW, for the record. The rules of acceptance are subject to change. I have quickly put something down to get the Club started. But we can discuss and revise them as we discover things - as long as the spirit and game play is still within the style.
