TS4 WS players Catty?

There's something about that long stare across the net when she's won a long point or broken your serve, something about that smirk after a cross-court winner or hard put away volley at net. Something about her arrogance makes you want to literally stomp her face in...but instead you toss your controller a couple of times or curse at your television screen as she continues outshining you. You've practiced for what seems like countless hours to be ripped to shreds by this b****, and she's making it look so easy. Before you know it, it's 0-6 0-5 and you have yet to score. What to do? Retire? Change tactics? You know she's going to send you the standard "gg" when she really wanted to say, "what an easy win...thanks...maybe next time."

After you lose horribly, there's only one thing to do, you can take the high road, which who does that in a competitive setting? Or you can send some sly comment, to get into her head. Something like, "Good luck in your next round...I've seen you've never beaten her." Or, "Nice match...you gonna make a sandwich with all that cheese?" Something to take her off her high horse.

We've all done it at some point. Some of us still do. I'm guilty myself, but it's the passion of the game that pushes us over the edge. We LOVE this friggin' site and we love to compete. We all get catty and make sly or vicious comments, but that's part of the nature of this atmosphere. Let's not take things so personally to where we can't have fun with it. Let's continue enjoying ourselves here and not making petty behavior overshadow an awesome setup. ITST rocks! I admit I have a love/hate relationship with it at times, but it's addictive and it is what it is.
