18/0/2 (or) 19/0/1 with kelly?

Postby Indian_tamizhan » Thu, 06 Oct 2011 21:26

Hi frnds,

am not a good server of the ball.. (ie., i wont hit advanced serves.. just use "x" or "o" button with power).. hence if i choose 18/0/2, i get 78 in the serve.. so will it work for me...?

So which of these two with kelly is the best setup for me ?

19/0/1:

FH:68
BH:68
S:82
V:97
Pwr:40
Stm:48
Spd:61
Rflx:86

18/0/2:

FH:70
BH:70
S:78
V:94
Pwr:40
Stm:52
Spd:63
Rflx:83

[1 more question:

does the advanced serves with Right stick and power serves with action buttons are same or will differ?]

Well, advanced serves are faster, but button serves area little easier to aim for many players. I would probably use 20/0/0, but thats just me.

If you use buttons serve people will think you are doing zero power serve and call it cheesy.

That is in untrue. I use 90% button serve and no one thinks I am cheesy. Well, maybe they do, just don't tell me

it depends, with good power or serve stat, button serve if good, but with a low serve & power dfc, even if maintained, the button serve can become a zps. and it is cheesy in my opinion.

i button serve alot on ofb but i stopped on dfc

you have to practise and find both : the best moment to stop aiming (supposing you start aiming before you arm) , and the best moment to push to joystick. and on this point, perfect doesnt always mean perfect, there are perfects that are more perfect than other perfects. am i clear?

Sorry if I was unclear, button serves with low power setup of 40. But yeah, 99% of my serves are button serves and my char power is in the 80s.

I prefer 18/02, it helps you more in the baseline without taking that much off volly. Not that much of a difference though.

On a related note, could someone quickly check in the Coach Calculator, and tell me what 18/1/1 gives?

Thanks.
I used to think I was indecisive... but now I'm not so sure.
