honestly i think too threads got closed too early .

but on the other side the experience showed such threads ends often in full drama .

so i understand itst ,but sometimes threads are closed really too early.

I do know what forums are not intended for. They are not a place where anyone can unleash his frustration in a whine format. There might be forums like that but i (and i believe most of the community) do not want to read 101 variations on "i just lost and i need to create some drama to feel better". Hence we moderate quite heavily on this.

We close threads early when it is clear where it is going or when it is basically just a continuation of a recently closed thread.

Yes the hosts and moderators do an excellent job here - don't take this site for granted. ITST to my knowledge has been around since 2004 and you have to wonder why that is - quite simply because it rocks and is managed so well in all aspects from website design, forum control, tournament hosting, new initiatives, support and all voluntary.

As for specifically locking threads the management team do not just lock threads willy nilly - through experience and judgement they know the sign when it has the potential to get out control. Take a look at the below thread link closed only yesterday:

http://www.intertopspintour.net/forum/v ... 5&start=15

I got involved and whilst I never intended for it to reach that level, it did, and therefore it was best for all parties that Xavi (Moral Spain) locked it.
They call me Baggy...

Kinda like my situation in the French when I got knocked out by cheap tactics (by someone that I will not name) and the tourney host wouldn't help. This website is getting more and more ridiculous.

I know, I know...leave, right? Well, I might. And I might bring Tim Tebowner and Hollaa Itz Mike with me. And then Djarvik is going to have a great time with Davis Cup all on his own, lol.

....erm yep, I am the one in critical need of growing up

Dude, the policies of the site wont change. Deal with it or dont deal with it.
