Sim Tour...still necessary?

I joined ITST a couple months before the end of Top Spin 3 and really like the Sim Tour that ITST offered. I have been looking forward for a Sim Tour to be implemented in TS4…but then with all the updates and maybe some stats restriction coming soon, is a Sim Tour still necessary?
