Guys and Gals: Two Separate Careers?

After I unlocked the Fast Build option (playing as a male), figured it would work for creating a female character. Doesn't appear to be so (or maybe I'm doing something wrong). So what? I have to go through career again, as a female, to unlock another Fast Build???

May be you try to make another male player first and see whether the system ask you to activate the fast build?

Just figured it out. I think I may have been in career mode - as if I actually, really wanted to play another career. When I left career, and went to "My Player" the points were there. Thank God.
