i been playing the game for awhile and i like to find players that have a similar mind set to to me. what i mean is i like to play Simulation tennis where you dont abuse the games mechanics too much. ie. short cross spamming, swinging volley from the baseline, fake approach shot(can happen by accident so is forgiveable), really wide serves, running dropshots. i understand its part of the game as long as its not on everypoint.

im just tired of playing random players that spam these kind of tactics, i can win against some of them but, its really tortuous and required me to play some equally unrealistic shot. there are some that are too perfect in these kind of tactics and no matter what you do u cant win.

You play ps3 or Xbox?
Most of the unrealistic tactics you're talking about are forbiden here: wide serve (we serve from center), abuse drop shot, defense with lob or dropshot. And some setups are also forbiden like monster defense, smell of blood and you need only one grey attribute (minimum 42) to avoid extrem setup build like 100 power or 90/90 welch.
However, short cross shots are used a lot because it is really efficient, but you can definitly counter it, it is not an unfair and unrealistic shot like defense dropshot for exemple.
Which setup or pro player do you use? Come on and register for next tournaments here, its a lot of fun and challenge!;)

You have to create a player following the rules:
- Skills: Monster Defense and Smell of Blood are banned.
- You may have only one Grey colored stat (below 50).
- All stats must be no less than 42

And also follow the "fairplay" rules during all matchs. Here are the official unfair statement:
"Continuously playing drop shots or drop volleys. This tactic seems to be used a lot in futures and challengers lately. Especially new and fair players should not have such a first experience with ITST. Saying that you have to use this tactic because it is a coach skill is not an excuse. You can still play to the strength of your coach by occasionally using the drop shot. We can’t say what too many drop shots are unfortunately. Try keeping it realistic. When you have pushed back your opponent in a rally it is the perfect moment to hit a drop shot. If you want to know what is realistic, try watching some real life tennis matches, note when and how often drop shots are used.

Using the return glitch. There is a return possible where the server has no option other than to run backwards after this return. We see this as a glitch that should not be exploited at any time.

Tramline serves. Moving your player out wide for serving is considered cheesy and should not be done. Throughout the match, your player also moves towards the forehand side. It is a good practice to move your player one step back to the middle of the court at least once a set, or whenever you notice he has moved towards the tramlines. "

These tournaments are running at the exact same time as real life tournament, which mean that we are currently playing french open roland garros.

Hey I'm on the Xbox360 the names GRIMMJOW2099 as you can tell lol...I'm always looking for good players but sometimes I do some of the cheesy tactics you are talking about but I sometimes I do that by mistake I just don't underestimate my opponents so I play kinda aggressive but I can dumb it down a lil...We can train pro players or created players just messege me when you get the chance
