Having fun online????

Hi everyone,
I'm new here but definitely not new at TS4 (XBOX).
I've been playing TS4 for more than 2 years now and although I'm not a great player as the ones in this community I can say I have no more difficulties in winning games in career mode at the expert level.
My favorite setups are Rabari - Welch, with which I dominate every match.
The reason why I write this topic is that the online alternative to the game is becoming more and more annoying, having so many cheating players and/or receiving many bad messages when I win in world tour or even "friendly" matches.
I am old enough (40) to play the game only in the evening and just for fun and not for the need of having a challenge, being better than anyone or having a higher world rank. At the end of the story it's a GAME and it must be FUN and if I lose a match but it was a good one then it's absolutely OK for me. I always congratulate with my opponent after a good match, independently from the result. Who cares after all????!!!!!!
However, as already mentioned in the forum, finding someone who thinks the same way I do is very difficult.
So, and here come finally my questions, what is your most recent experience with online players not belonging to the ITST community? How can I possibly find some player willing to PLAY relaxed and maybe giving me some hints on how to play better? I really don't need competition but since I like TS4 and enjoy having a couple of hours of gaming in the evening (when finally the kids are sleeping), I would really welcome any proposed solution.

Hi mate,

I'm almost "old" as you are (38 for me), so I really understand what you feel when you play and are insulted after which is supposed to be a game. So maybe a good solution for you is to play with another "oldy", aka me . My id is kommichu.

However, you talk about cheated players but you use yourself a cheated set up when you play with Welsh, so... Anyway, if you're interested in playing with me, it'lle be a pleasure, but with ITST rules for set up and for gameplay .

Some people are just bad losers they will never change. I too receive hate msg from sore losers. If you congratulate your opponents despite winning or losing then you sir are a CHAMPION!!!

Hi, thank you for your reply. Actually you're right, welch is overpowered and unfair. I used it at the beginning in career mode because it was obviously easier to win matches. Now my preferred setup is Rabari with 85 FH and 70 BH (I think it's a 13-7 and 3/1).
I will add you with pleasure and hope to meet you soon.

P.S.: I'm not sure if playing against me will be a"battle", I'm not so good as you are but I'll do my best.

Thank you This is really the spirit with which I play. In the past, I have to admit, I quit some matches before the end but it was because they were really a farce. If I play with a good and superior opponent there's no reason to act as a little kid and being angry because I'm loosing. I just keep trying till the end.

- A great friendly community which talk every evening about the results of the community, sport in general or other stuff on the Chat for years. Competition is really sain here

- Realistic & funnier game than TS4 : the speed looks like what you see on TV, whereas Top Spin 4 represents the tennis of the 80's in terms of speed. Rebound very different from a surface to another, precision malus on 1 hand BH when you receive a spin, stuff like that (to simulate the problems Federer has when he plays Nadal ).

- Tournaments full (64 players for M1000 minimum...), 600 members, 300 players ranked on the tour (3rd year the tour has been launched). A Davis cup is also ongoing : you have to play with your national players (France team must pick french characters like Gasquet, tsonga monfils etc ; Germany must pick Brands Haas or Mayer and so on).

It says "offline" on your player card on xbox live. How will I know the right time to ask for a match?
