Hello together

Two things I would like to say here:

1. Now I know for sure, I am not able to keep the focus in matches.
Great match without abusing short court cross hits against ELTXETXU. Was leading in the first set 3:1 with one break. I had the service. What happened? Lost 4:6. Nothing worked like before in my hits....
Then the second set I was able to keep the concentration and won it 6:3.
But then in the third set..... Was leading 5:2, two breaks for me. At 5:2 was my turn to serve and maybe to bring the victory at home 6:2....
No way, I lost 5:7 at the end....
Well, that's also, cause ELTXETXU raised his level.
GREAT MATCH ELTXETXU !! Olé España!

2. Watch the title.
Played yesterday a one setter with Ary and with his specific rules and it was a beauty!! Very close to real tennis. Without the fear, that maybe the next hit could be an impossible scc hit and destroy the rally in a unrealistic way. I enjoed it a lot! Was sceptical before, but hey.... the way this tennis VIRTUAL game change is remarkable.

Long realistic rallys!
You have to open the field more often to hit a winner longline!
UE increase a little bit!
No more unrealistic winners!

Of course, this is, what I felt playing. Maybe someone other will not find the pleasure. But hey, humanity is individual!

Really look forward to play many other matches with this rules. And also with many other great ITST people. Just try it!

My match wasn't tennis, also not table tennis. It was a waste of time. Control hits without ends! I played, like him, with Agassi. Terrible, like two Welches... I am not great in control shots, so at the end the result was very clear.
But becuase I refuse to hit this short cross control hits, it's ok, if I lose so clearly. No prob.

people like you and ary1g are proclaiming not to use controlshots in order to have more "fair" games.

and what do I see? you disgrace any player using control shots publically in a forum.

ary1g, who is shining by having no expertise on the game, and some people who are just getting onto this train of incompetence because they forgot how to use their own brain, even open a thread everytime they lose, whining about shortcrosses.

this is poor and respectless. you demand a more fair behaviour by others, but aren't yourself capable to stick to the most simple pattern a sportsman has to: respect.

just to clarifiy. controlshots and shortcrosses ARE ALLOWED, they are WITHIN the rules and the one who uses them IS NOT playing in a cheesy way. discard your illusion to make a realistic game out of TS4.

accept it or simply don't play the tour, but this behaviour, which reminds me of a witch-hunt is just disgusting.
tennis elbow is a wonderful alternative for all the blind controlshot-haters.

What I do, is to apply 100% discretion. Every ITST member is free to watch my results in the statistics. I never write names!!

Do you see here a name? Maybe it is evidence, who it is supposed to be...

2. I never opened a threat after I played an opponent, that used 90% of short cross courts hits. Please show me this threats. An advice, watch exactly the creating time of the threats....

Ary just try to come closer to the reality, closer! Of course, if you master this kind of ridiculous hits, you will be against them. I never played you, already said this. Would lose for sure. Maybe you are not an 90% scc hitter. Don't know.

3. and most important!! You said to me I don't have RESPECT?? If this is so, I have to stop playing immediatly on this great community!
Respect I show always. Ask my opponents who defeated me very easy, how I react. Wish always good luck in the next round and say, how great they are! Please don't say, I would not show respect!!
You say something so personal, just after reading 2-3 post?? Ridicoulous!!

Of course they are allowed, me too use them. But if 9 points from 10 are with scc hits, this is what I PERSONALLY not like. And if immediatly after the first hit your opponent try to hit them repeatedly, I am not willed to continue the match. It's about overdose and abusing.

Blind controlshot-haters? I don't hate them, I just don't like the abusing.
Nothing is wrong with my behaviour, believe me. I just wrote my sensation in a funny way about Ary's new suggested rules.
Everyone is free to try it.

I am available for friendly matches. With and without Ary's ideas.

Oh my god, 5-2 to 5-7.
Perhaps its stupid, but i recommend to wait 2-3 seconds before each service, or shut down the sound for a while to concentrate! The game sometimes goes too fast!

Problem is that this is the way that top spin 4 is built. If people use only power shots then there is no way for defenders to win. Similarly it's hard to wrong foot your opponent using power shots rather than control shots. If only power shots are played then you can easily read the game of your opponents. Still anyway flat control shot is the worst of all

Wow I just read the tile of the thread before I clicked on it and I got a real surprise After reading the title alone, I really though that it was some sort of joke and expected a whole lot of bad words about me. However, this thread made my "forum-day"!

You say it the best in this thread. I do these things to get closer to reality. I will always look for ways to improve realism in sports games and especially this tennis game, since this great community exists. I think we got a major improvement with the -42 rule, MD and SoB banned. However, after trying my newest rules, I just realized it's the flat control shots altogether I've always hated(realistically speaking).

Many people here say that it will be impossible to defend, no it won't. You can still use control topspins in whatever way you like, and same goes for slices.

Flat short crosses are ridiculous when hitted by setups Like welch etc but now with welch banned i dont think there is any need to ban flat control shots(although i hate short crosses and guess what if they are banned then they will favour my playstyle) one question is what's stopping you from hitting them as well? If your opponent hits a short cross then you hit a short cross as well in return to counter it. And everyone nowadays uses these short crosses soo that's foolish in my opinion to blame your opponents that they abuse short crosses while I do not
