One-handed or two-handed bakhand

Postby SupremeLoren » Sat, 14 Apr 2012 12:19

Hi, i like players who have goods drives but poors backhands like Federer.
I´ve seen her in matchs and he have a one-handed backhand.
When i created my player, i set a one-handed backhand but truly i don´t know the different.

I think a one handed is better to do X/square shots but actually i´m not sure

What do you tell me about?

Sorry for my english :D

the one hander is good for versatility and allows player to have good natural slice bh. it use to be that it gave you more reach but rafa, and nole changed that with thier open stance 2 handers, the one hander make it easier to handle low balls.
you spoke of federer if you watched the AO semi you will remember fed broke rafa ripping a low backhand for a winner in the second game of the 1st set. in the game.

the two hander gives allows you handle high balls better thats why nole whups rafa his topspin is nothing nole's bh. the two hander gives you more control on returns simply cos your using two hands instead of one .

each has strengths and weaknesses so just go with what you prefer but if you do go a one hander make it at least 61

Does it even make a difference in TS4? If you slice, your player switches to one-hand anyway.

Anyway, when I create a player I already know how to spec him/her so I'll also take FH/BH coach boni into consideration. But in general, one-handed BH = 3-1 or 4-0, two-handed BH = 2-2.

BTW Fed has one of the best one-handed backhands in the game. Wawrinka's may be a bit better though.
