WTH is a glitched player anyway?

Postby BluudyEEfingaz » Thu, 22 Mar 2012 17:50

I was highly insulted yesterday when playing and ultimatley beating a fellow ITSTer when after the match I was accused of possibly having a glithched player. My created Sharapova is one I created a long while ago who I pride in beating some of the top players here in friendlies before the patch. After the patch I chose an all-arounder and put Sharapova on the back burner. I recently dusted her off and began playing with her and winning more matches. She uses Rabari as her coach and 85 on power. My opponent felt I was hitting shots harder and deeper than his player with 91 power with Focus Serve and Serve Beserker. I have no idea what a glitched player is and furthermore have never had to resort to cheating to win a match here or elsewhere. I'm insulted and disgusted by the accusation. Anyone who has ever played me knows if nothing else, I'm fair.

(volley shot artist) (drop shot artist) Is it possible there is an issue in the game where the player can't see the skills? IDK but I'm not a cheater so it sort of rubbed me the wrong way when I received this pm after my match.

apparently the best way to avoid this is to log in to the World Tour before playing your matches, otherwise you'll be playing with a pre-pacth player which means your player will be like Superman/Supergirl.

BTW no response from 2K in this regard yet

PS: Not saying you're doing this on purpose btw, don't get me wrong, haven' played against you in ages so i can't tell.
Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

I've noticed a trend here and in life as well...as long as you're average people don't mind competing with you or maintaining a friendship...but the minute you step out and start improving and becoming better, they turn on you. I guess it's true when they say it's lonely at the top. I wonder how bkristian must feel? I respect him so much more now. I'm over it!

Stop always doing the victim, it's boring.

I perfectly remember the only match we played together and let me know you still hold the record of lobs in a match.

You pressed so much "Y" that I'm quite sure you needed to buy a new controller just after.

So what's the relationship between your addiction to lobs and this topic ?
You always think you are the victim whereas you're maybe the people who is actually the real cheesy player.
Everytime someone complains about you, you create a topic for instance...

We have an upcoming match. I'll answer your question when we're done because I'm quite sure the outcome will bring more of the same. The initial question was...WTH is a glitched player?

Well Rabari's Instant Rocket fills up your power meter quicker so maybe it appeared that you hit harder shots just because your power meter was maxed and your opponent's meter still wasn't.

Apologies for this Bluudy, I didn't realise I had been that off with you. I noticed after I sent you the messages that you have that Instant Rocket skill which means most of your shots are going to be powered up, but it looks a hell of alot like when I played Billval's demonstration of a glitched player, whereby you are regularly hitting deep powerful shots from seemingly impossible positions or when you shouldnt have enough time to do so.

Honestly if anyone plays your Sharapova they will feel the same, how can a player of 85 power overwhelm a player with power of 90, doesnt really make sense? Even if you are glitched it can be done by mistake, I'm not that clued up on how it works so I'm not saying you are doing it on purpose even if you are, it's just I've played enough matches to know when something doesn't feel right, like no matter what you do you won't win.

When I play Bkristian I know he is just the better player so totally respect that and I have no problem with someone being better than me and you don't come across as a player who would cheat knowingly. The glitch thing definitely makes you more paranoid in general though and I almost feel like it would be better not knowing it existed if nothing can be done about it.

This kinda player is unbeatable. You put a glitched person behind a glitches player - you get this.

I think Bill was using a glitched player every match I played against him since mid 2009.

I still consider you a friend here and again I have no idea what a glitched player is...so I'm as confused as you. All I know is how to create players with skills...anything else...I'm completely oblivious to.

Er, just to be clear: iluvbillval is definitely a glitch free and no cheddar player.

I was joking, my mistake for not making it obvious.

Yeah I know, he played me when 'non-glitched' and I didnt have much more luck, the guy's like Bkristian, an unstoppable top spin machine.
