This does not look like a balanced tour 2 me, does it look balanced too you djarvik?
I know you all put a lot of hard work and effort in2 this but figures don't lie.

I suggest 1 or 2 events without the top 4 in it?
What do you think?

I only made this 2 see how many of each character was picked.

But after I seen the results I was shocked at how little variety there actually is.

Im suprised Jensen hasn't been used more since the start of SIM. I thought his service game would be useful in a SIM setting but I guess not useful enough.

I'm not shocked at all, people playing to win are always going to choose those characters suiting that purpose the best.

It is also not shocking at all that there are different Tiers of Sim Characters. On the REG Tour there are also different Tiers of Gold Coaches, but on SIM Tour the step from one Tier to another is not that huge. You can still win with a Tier 3 Character against a Tier 1 Character, whereas on REG Tour an average player using a Tier 1/2 coach can trouble a good player using a Coach from a lower Tier.

There is also no surprise that players are looking for those Characters/Coaches offering them wings, power and speed. This is a reflection of Top Spin 4 being quite a one-dimensional game.

Same issue, same thing, different thread

For me, I don't play SIM Tour because of variety lol I do not really care about if someone is using Nakamura, Fortis or another player.
On SIM Tour everything is possible for me - I mean look at the Australian Open.

I play for fun and with the player I can handle the best and I guess, that most of the people are doing it the same.
I mean, for what having a rooster of players, you are free to choose for saying in the end: "Now you are not allowed to use Fortis or Lopez" anymore lol.

For me, this would be lame to force people not to take certain players. Besides there has been and there still is variety because people try some players from time to time.
And of course, they stuck to players, they like the most and they have the most succes with. Isn't that human?!
Besides as we all know, a human being is a lazy creature and as long Top Spin 4 only allows to create 4 players, I guess most of the people just don't want to create new players all the time.....

I mean I tried Fortis, Lopes and B.Cannon. Isn't that variety?

Now I play with Nakamura. And I saw also a lot of other players, who were changing their characters during last season.

On REG tour it is the same....Is there variety? You see Rabari, Welsh and Neuwirth. That's all. But for what getting excited? There are the same chances for everyone.

I have tried Lopez and Lorenz, but I think i am going to try another character in the next tournament. Not sure who though.
