Women SIM tour

Postby Painted Crystal » Wed, 25 Jan 2012 22:27

I like very much SIM tour, more and more than regular
Why not Women SIM tour, someone like that?
Would be a way to experiment different sim setups in ITST tour

If the reason is that it requires too much work for hosts I apologize for the request

Thanks

I don't think there are enough people playing the regular SIM tour to justify a women's SIM tour -- most of the SIM tournaments don't even have full fields.

What are you saying?
The two SIM tournment in progress (Xbox and PS3) are full and I don't think there is need that everyone loves SIM to start the the SIM Women tour

Bluudy, Kina come on!!!

By the way Guys.

Wouldn't it be smarter to mix our Tours? I mean that women can play in the same Tour like Men?

Ofcourse the ITST is made to simulate the original Pro Tours at its best.

But I am saying this because women and Men Characters are and were always equipollent in Top Spin 4 and there is no technical difference between them.

I like this idea...but the Women's tour is underappreciated here and that sucks. Some of the most talented gamers on this site play the WS events but because of lack of tournaments have dabbled in MS as well like bkristian and have done VERY well. We're losing great players like Kina because of lack of regulations...a SIM tour would broaden interest in WS again like in TS3 because there were RULES...unlike now with people constantly trying to ban a certain coach. We NEED a female SIM tour and we NEED a Fed Cup...but I don't think it will happen...because of lack of popularity of the players that are for this to happen. Anyway...I'm done.

There aren't articles about the girls because people who should write them are busy currently.
You should offer your service to be part of the redaction, maybe they'll be interested ;)

A gals written perspective of the gals tour would be very welcome. :) Shoot me a PM if you have the time/interest.

Regarding the news in general, the woman's tour suffered as much as the men's circuit during the waning days of 2011. We weren't picking on the gals - just not enough able bodies to provide the proper coverage - and the bodies that were able, were too damn busy.

On the brighter side, a new year brings fresh legs (and fingers). Meaning, the news will be back up to par (and up to date) in the next few days.

The Women's tour is completely marginalised on ITST, but this is at least realistic as it reflects the fact the women's game gets nowhere near the exposure it deserves on the real tour.

I think this suggestion could work as I don't find that there is too much difference between the amount of players entering Women's tourns as it was when I played in Men's, so I think we can get enough interest.

I have had many competitive matches already on the Women's tour so far and am arguably enjoying it more than the Men's tour (maybe because I am winning more!) which I have left behind for the time being, and there are several top players.

Girl Power!
